Service wasn’t the best until they messed up. They made up for it, and the food was SO good. Didn’t seem too kid friendly, but kids under 6 were free!

Great customer service. Great breakfast!

The servers seemed quite busy, so I can give some leeway there. Our server was a bit incessant and constantly coming back to our table when we just wanted to have a quiet meal. I think I spent more time talking to him than the person I was eating with. The sausages were really bad, but at least our served comped them. The croissant tasted as though it had been frozen and reheated.Overall, this is not a restaurant I will be returning to.

We had a lovely breakfast this morning at Lift. We are staying at the hotel with another family and we all went down to have breakfast. The food was excellent and the kids menu was delicious! Nutella waffles? I mean..! My avocado on sourdough with scrambled eggs and balsamic was to die for!! By no means least was our phenomenal waiter José! He made all the kids laugh and was so accommodating, even suggesting options that we had not noticed on the menu. Five star service! We will definitely be eating at Lift for the duration of our stay!

We had a wonderful breakfast served by Jose. The food was excellent. Jose conversed with our 3 boys, putting them at ease and tailoring their meal and drinks. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to Ottawa.

We enjoyed breakfast the first day of reopening. The food was delicious.

I really like this place! Super tasty desserts and cocktails, the staff is amazing - waiters and waitresses are trying to guess your desire and serve you in the best possible way. I'll definitely come again!

The Lift offers a gorgeous, modern ambiance flooded with natural light and all the amenities for an enjoyable meal, drinks meet or work "pit stop" when a deadline is due. The menu selections are delectable, and the warm welcome by staff warms the heart and always causes a smile. Well done to the management team re: creating a wonderful meeting place and get-away place for solo outings, meeting friends and hosting clients.

Waiter seemed too busy and distracted to spend time with us; I felt I was taking too much of his time by asking menu questions. Food was good; there are small portions of salad available but it's not listed on the menu. When we asked about the salad size ordered by the person next to us we were confused by the size we actually received. Overall, food was good but the experience was a disappointment for the cost we paid. Bill was $95 with tip for two salads, two mains and one beer.

The food and service was mediocre. It was an average hotel restaurant, with nothing particularly special or notable. The pasta was “flat” in flavour and texture. There was a dog barking in the lobby for a significant portion of the meal. Not what we had hoped for in terms of an anniversary dinner!

Service was horrible, we were placed at a table behind a plant and completely ignored by the servers. No one came by to even offer us water and it wasn't busy. People who can by after us were served first. We left after 20 minutes.

It is a good restaurant for the 'pre-hotel' restaurant

We were staying in the Delta hotel for a conference and after a long day and facing a chilly evening we decided to stay in for dinner. Food and service at Lift were top notch! Also surprisingly, very economical.
