i love this place so much. it used to be really close to where i lived but they sadly had to move their location. but they had the best tacos and even better service. while you're waiting for you food they give you samples of food to try. and once i didn't have my card with me and i asked them if i could e-transfer and they were really nice about it. other than the tacos, the chicken tortilla soup has probably got to be my one of my favourites. even when they would give me a sample id still order it cause it's that good. also they have halal options and not just veg, which i love. it's a really good take out place. my only thing is i wish they were open longer and if they had more comfortable seating cause then it wouldn't just be for take out, especially in the summer.

Honestly the best mexican place in Ottawa I've had. The guy who runs it is awesome and is super nice. Gave me a little cup of his amazing soup while I waited for my order and the food is the best. Can't recommend this place enough if you're looking to get food while you're crunched for time.

I am literally obsessed with this place… we found them when they were at their old location, and are still willing to make the trip because they are just that good. No other Mexican food compares - their enchiladas, tacos, and tortilla soup are amazing. I also love buying their homemade hot sauce to bring home… it’s probably a good thing I don’t live super close or I would be there every single week. Super cute family run business that I love to support!!! You guys are the best.
The chicken tortilla soup is really good. The Carne Asada wrap was really filling and the portion sizes are surprisingly large. Definitely going to try more of the menu

Stopped by on Saturday hoping to try this place it sounds amazing. However they were closed and Google showed as open and their voice message said they were closed for the long weekend back in May. Will definitely try this spot next time in the Valley

Real Mexican street food ? loved the little touches like the sample of tortilla soup while you wait, the assortment of chili sauces they prep for you, and the overall enthusiasm over their product. Huge menu, so hard to choose.
Super enthusiastic customer service, knowledgeable about the menu gave us a sample of chili to taste for flavour profile whilst we were deciding. My husband is vegetarian and plenty of items on the menu catered to him. We bought our meals home and enjoyed in the gardenVegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options, refried beans instead of meat, grilled veggies. My husband was happy.

Amazing.Price: $ very fairFood: incredible, from the poutine to other options like chimichanga...so flavourful in all of the right ways. The chicken corn chip soup is sooo good, highly recommend it. Didn't try the deep fried Ice cream but it seems like a good idea.Service was quick and the gentleman working was soo nice and patient with us. Such a great place.To me it's a hidden gem in this area, tucked away between two automotive shopsHighly recommend if you're looking for some fresh and authentic food.

May have found one of my favourite Mexican places in town. Was given a sample of their tortilla soup and it was delicious! Got the Gordita taco salad with chicken and it was so great. It’s so much bigger than it looks in my pictures. Couldn’t finish it. I’ll definitely be back!!

Starting with the pros - the staff were very friendly and the food came out fast! They had samples of the tortilla soup which was amazing.Unfortunately we didn't love our mains, but the soup was promising enough that we'll be back to try some of the other dishes.edit: we came back and ordered tacos and the soup and they were amazing! upgraded review to 5 stars.

I am a regular customer of Mexigo Cabana and will go out of my way to eat their food. My personal favorite is the Mexican flag combo - give it a try and you will be glad you did. No doubt you will also get a sample of their delicious soup ... so add that to the list of reasons to try Mexigo Cabana -today- !!
