A true gem in Ottawa. Service was top notch. They have a great team. Wine was delish. We ordered three dishes, I ate two and loved them (both GF). Intimate music venue. Came for the music, stayed for the food and vibe. We will be back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Midnight closing time? More like 10:30 PM on a Friday night. What kind of “jazz lounge” is this?!

Nice experience. Seating was tight and no place to put the coats. Music and food was very good. Overall great place for a nice evening out.

Our food items were good, but if one comes for "dinner and a show" the menu is too limited. Likewise, we non scotch drinkers would like a few more wine and cocktail choices. It should be easier to book for both shows through the online system.

Great music, horrible service and very very expensive drinks, late show never has food, and good luck if you have any special dietary needs. Go for the music not the service or food.

Went to listen to the jazz group playing that night. The food menu is severely limited. The interior of the lounge is great, nicely arranged for its small space, and the atmosphere is intimate and cozy. Service was good, friendly and courteous.

the food was very good, the service was decent, welcoming and very friendly; and the atmosphere was great. the music was wonderful, in fact we ended up there because of the music.HOWEVER, the evening turned sour when i was told that this establishment did not desire to deal in cash. It is very short sighted for an independent business to be phasing out the use of cash. This will be their demise. I promise. i support independent businesses across all sectors, and have been self employed for almost 30yrs. I do embrace new technology but the phasing out of cash is a dangerous, and slippery slope into a digital dictatorship. it's not in your interest to do this. ACCEPT CASH! in fact, ENCOURAGE IT! i strongly urge.Good luck with your business.bj

We reserved the four seats at the bar. Patric took very good care of us delivering a personalized whiskey tour for each of our tastes. He is able to make the experience more accessible for newcomers and carries a depth of knowledge to keep a hardened liver happy. I'm happy to recommend this experience.

We had the food fortune to sit at the bar where Patrick took amazing care of us. He made suggestions that fit each of our preferences. Veteran scotch drinkers and newbies alike were impressed by his knowledge. A great time. Will definitely return.

The ambiance was awesome, friendly, laid back. Staff was super nice, open to some chatting, always with a smile on their faces. The only issue was some customers talking too loud while some of the singers were performing. At a point in time some of the customers conversations were drowning the singers out. Fortunately the host of the night and someone else told some of the customers to keep their conversations down a bit. That is not the establishments fault though. It was customers being loud. It should be enforced that loud conversations that drown out the performances are not welcomed, encourage a conversational tone of voice, that will make the customers wary of the fact that it is a venue to appreciate music and have nice intimate conversations, not a venue for talking loud, laughing loud while a performance sings. Otherwise great venue.

Saw the Ed Lister show last night (post-dinner) and they were fabulous. What a treat to hear real jazz in Ottawa. The bar is a gem with a great atmosphere. My only tip would be to slightly dim the lights more during the performance. Otherwise a great night out.
