Baked goods: TastySandwiches: Although they had a number of sandwiches, they all sounded the same. All eggs and cheese and ham/ bacon.Coffee: I asked for a cortado. However, they said that they serve it as a regular size, which means they fill it with milk. I opted for a flat white then. It basically tasted milkier than a latte. All the excitement for their coffee was gone sigh.Anyway, if you are here to try sandwiches etc, go for it. But I still think they can do muxh better when it comes to coffee.

I've always passed this place and never noticed it. Today I walked in and found an amazing spot! Immediately you see these amazing looking sandwiches, and are greeted by the friendly staff.The coffee, the food, and the service was amazing. I had the breakfast sandwich, and a chocolate chip cookie. The cookie is tiny but it is perfectly filled with chocolate and is appropriately priced. The breakfast sandwich was lacking a bit, however the lunch sandwiches looked really good, and I will definitely have to come back to try some.It's not too busy, which occasional office workers popping in to grab a sandwich and coffee with a few sitting to have a quick chat, which makes it a perfect spot to get some work done.Vegetarian options: They had some vegan baked goods and vegetarian sandwich options. They also had some milk alternatives for coffee.Dietary restrictions: They had some gluten-free choices and vegan options.

Morning Owl is easily one of the best mid-market coffee shops in Centretown. Try one of their made-to-order breakfast sandwiches with your coffee. I only wish they stayed open later and on weekends.
