I went to Quelque Chose this past Saturday. I LOVE macarons and they did not disappoint. The service was friendly and efficient. I let them pick my box of 12 as I wanted to taste them all. The only one that wasn't my favourite was the lavender. It smelled beautiful, but it was a bit strong for my liking. The overall tastes from all the other macarons were delightful, it was a full experience to just smell them and then bite into them as each was a flavour explosion. They have discount broken macarons so I also picked up one of those containers and still even though they were broken, they were incredible. I highly recommend a stop off at Quelque Chose if at the ByWard Market. The Macarons are an experience you won't want to miss.

We booked an afternoon tea for 2. Loved the ambiance in the dining area. The presentation was lovely for all of the food. Unfortunately, they were out of a tea that I wanted. Love the choice of macaroons. They did not disappoint. The scones were moist and flavourful. We had 1 savory and 1 sweet. It was definitely a nice experience but imo a little overpriced. Although we both left feeling full.

This is my third visit, I really enjoyed the first two visits but did not enjoy this one at allWhen I made the reservation online, I indicated no seafood. When they called me to confirm, they mentioned that I had indicated no seafood. I called later to add a third person, without me mentioning it, the person I spoke with mentioned that we had ordered no seafood so I felt good that they were clear that we were to have no seafoodWhen we received our classic tee, the server did not let us know what was on the platter. I assumed, because it had been confirmed so many times that there would be no seafood. Then I bit into one of the sandwiches only to taste that it was salmon, which I cannot eat at all. I brought it to the server's attention, she lightly apologized and brought me a new sandwich.Also, we did not receive our fruit salad until after we were finished with the rest of our food.There were other smaller issues with the service as well.In addition, we were not shown our bill at all, were only given the payment machine so we did not see itemized charges.The payment machine only allows for tipping of 15%, 18%, 20% or no tip at all. It does not allow for customized tipping amounts.There were several small and not so small issues with our visit, most importantly though was the salmon that I ate. I did not feel well for the rest of the day unfortunately because of it.Dietary restrictions: As mentioned above, request for no seafood was not honored.

Too expensive for what is provided, not nice ambiance, shoved in a tight small table even though I made reservations, tea wasn't good, no thanks for choosing their establishment, service was poor. Cheap dishes and no china in sight. Once I paid $120 for a classic tea service for 2 not one employee wished us a good day. The jam for the scones tasted like cheap jam from the grocery store. Macarons were overly sweet and really couldn't figure out what flavours they were supposed to be. I wouldn't recommend this establishment for an afternoon tea. Spend more and go to the Chateau Laurier.

The afternoon tea was delicious especially the macarons. My friend is celiac and they have a gluten free afternoon tea. We both enjoyed it. The only downside is the parking which was hard to find

The experience was better than expected and we had a great time. The sandwiches were a bit dry but everything was great. The atmosphere there, while small is quite elegant and perfect for our Afternoon tea.
I walked in there by mistake but was totally enamoured by the ambience and service. Amazing macarons and the friendliest of people! Did not try the afternoon tea but plan to the next time.

Absolutely loved our High Tea service! It was beautifully presented, service was excellent, food was great (we didn't like some of the sandwiches, but that is due to our taste), and there was lots to eat and drink so well worth the money. Definitely recommend, and hope to go again!

A very cute and quaint restaurant / tea house with a flair for fine pastries. The blueberry scone was out of this world and the mini sandwiches were delicious and unique. I will definitely be back but did find it a little on the pricey side. Nonetheless a sweet spot for sure and worth the visit.
