Love that the staff are easy to speak with, friendly, and knowledgeable (and most importantly, actually available to help you if you need help!)For those speaking about higher prices, I guess those reviewers don't understand that Loblaws/Shoppers are significantly larger companies with over 2000 stores in Canada who purposefully undercut their prices to steal business from local stores like this. I will gladly pay a couple dollars more to keep money out of corporate pockets and support a local chain instead.

I used to go to Nature Food Market in Langley, British Columbia and when I moved to Ottawa, I was afraid I wouldn't find its equivalent here. Luckily, I discovered the Natural Food Pantry store the same year I moved. I really like going to the one located in Britannia. Natural Food Pantry has healthy versions of many products, from candles, toothpaste, water filter machines, vitamins, and more. In addition, the customer service is excellent. It’s a real favorite. :)

These places (stores that cater to organic and vegan diets, etc) can be a bit pricey - but, I find them (this store) still cheaper than some of the other competitors. For instance, their single serving vegan gluten-free brown gravy envelope is a whole $1 cheaper than another place I went to for the same. Great selection / knowledgeable staff. I give them a thumbs-up!!

I have found lately the prices have seriously increased, making this place unaffordable. I have tried to mitigate that by still coming to buy products that are price reduced as they are nearing expiry. However, at least four times now I have purchased reduced items that were either rotten, moldy, or off tasting and had clearly gone bad. I find it really upsetting that items are not reduced at an appropriate time in the products life cycle and instead they are selling food that is literally garbage. Really sad to write this review, because I've been a customer for many years but the recent incidents have made me very hesitant to continue.

My go to for fresh organic vegetables. Rarely out of stock and the prices are great. The staff are fantastic and very friendly. I have never had an issue with this store and find everything is always done well, neat and tidy. While prices can be a bit high on many products, that is to be expected from a specialty item store where people on complicated diets like Veganism can easily find helpful items.

I miss rainbow foods so much. Since Natural food pantry took over they abolished most of my favourite products, and the customer service really suffered. More often than not there’s only one cash open and I waste a lot of time standing around, waiting.

I am so glad that Rainbow Foods got taken over. I stopped shopping there due to seeing the old owners mistreating staff, but now that it has new owners I've returned. The store is always well-stocked with lots of variety, especially with vegan products.
