Very incognito coffee shop. I happen to stumble on it on a walk. Small in the inside, but multiple sitting areas outside in the front or back patio. The prices are comparable with most coffee shops in the area. Good service and tasty coffee.

wanted to love this place as it is close by and I had heard good things about the coffee. It was a complete disappointment all around. Save your money as it isn’t cheap and go to Ten Toes or Union Street cafe where staff is friendly and the baked goods are fresh.I’m happy to pay for good quality food and have never written a poor review for any place before. However, from the moment I walked in, the service was terrible. The worker never looked up once even while taking the order, much less to say hello. She looked annoyed that were even there. We ordered two coffees and two croissants and both were rock hard and clearly several days old. I only noticed when I bit into it and kindly asked if it could be warmed up to save the thing. I was immediately told that she was busy and if I had taken a bite then no. Turned around and continued what she was doing. Of course I only found it was stale when I bit into it, so that was odd.No ambiance and not cozy as one would expect for this kind of local coffee shop. The coffee was mediocre and for this price, would never step in that place again.

They don’t have iced beverages during winter as it’s “out of season” which was the first time I’ve ever heard that so I was very disappointed as I’m an ice drink girl. I had the maple latte which was quite good. My boyfriend had an espresso which I personally wasn’t a fan of it was somehow sour and left a bad after taste. The service was fast and friendly however.Also there’s no parking which was a hassle.

One of my favourite cafes in Ottawa! Unique pastries and grilled cheese sandwiches. It can get a bit pricey but it's always worth it.
They refused to give us the Wifi password, saying customers can't use their Wifi on weekends. NEVER heard of this kind of policy in ANY coffee shop around the world. (Wifi on weekdays but only not on weekend? ha) It's obvious that they just want customers to get out of their shop with take-out food so they can earn more money by taking more people.There are Bridgehead right next to them and they provide wifi service just like any "normal" coffee shop so I highly recommend you to go there instead.-I want to note that this happened in 2023 and it was AFTER the pandemic is over.
