I’ve been to Robertos quite a few times already with my co-workers and it has become my new favourite place to go to for lunch! The buns are the best I’ve had since moving to Ottawa and the meat they give you is always a lot. It’s also locally-owned so that’s a plus. Prices are good for the quality of food you get. I usually get the roast beef, but I tried the porchetta for the first time last Friday and it was delicious.

I have nebr tasted a sandwich until I came to Robertos...I'm telling you, melt in your mouth portugese bread and fresh everything, everyday! MY favorite is the tuna! <3 and AMAZING prices!!! Dont be scared if u see a line up...the are QUICK!!!

This place is a hidden gem, the sandwiches are great and its very reasonably priced everything is organized and tidy and given the size of the sandwich and price they are basically in a league of their own.
Interesting place, great subs, fast service. Only downside is parking sucks.

I heard good things so I had to try it. I ordered the chicken parm. It was decent, but the chicken was rather low quality (like buying cutlets from a wholesaler). It reheated from frozen in the microwave, so it was dry and tough to bite thru. The red peppers and spicy eggplant on it was tasty. I'll have to try a different sandwich to see if it lives up to the hype.

Don’t let its unassuming location keep you away - unfortunately it kept me away for longer than it should have. I was a fool! One of the best sandwiches in Ottawa, hands down, no question. Amazing bread (and great bread-to-topping ratio), delicious and generous amounts of deli meat, and fresh ingredients. And great service, to boot. A+
