Its one of the best bars menus I have seen so far in any Indian restaurant here in ottawa. Appreciation to the staff and Owner. Fenin hosted us exceptionally. It was the first time I saw some real authentic and classic drinks on an Indian restaurant’s menu and it was beyond expectations… Their Indo Chinese is real good… Thanks Fenin for your service.. Mr Bartender you got everyone’s heart . Appreciations to the exceptional bar skills.

Served us bad chicken in platter. Food is just average. Naan was soft but quite bland. Fish amritsar was okay. Manchurian was good. Gobi 65 was like biting into a blob of oil. Disappointed.

My initial experience with Saffron was through takeout, where I was impressed by the authentic Indian flavors. Following that, I dined in with my family and found the experience even more delightful, thanks to the ambiance and attentive service. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the restaurant and will gladly recommend it to others.
What a great experience. We do have some nice Indian resturants around town but for me this is on par to the experiences I had in B.C. a great spot for Northern Indain Cuisine. Start off with Paneer65 you'll be happy you did. Also Fenil was a great waiter.. ask for

This was our third time at the restaurant and the food quality has declined terribly.We order bullet naan which said it has green chillies but what they served was naan with chilli flakes, butter naan didn't had butter, kadhai paneer quantity was so less that only 1 person can eat it. We also order kadhai chicken which had so much coriander seeds that it makes you think if you are eating kadhai chicken or kadhai coriander seeds. Having said that the best part was the service. People are so good that it makes you forget about the decline in food quality.I wish the restaurant can bring back the quality that they started their restaurant with but definitely not going back anytime soon.
They are really respectful, the appetizers got here really fast, the food did not take long to get here + the owner gave us free candy.Parking: It was easy to find parking.Kid-friendliness: They give free candy at the end, and the man is funny.

Best Indian restaurant in Ottawa. The people who work there provide the best pairing of the food, they cater to every demographic by having a range of spice level. The food is absolutely delicious! We have been there 4 times already since it opened.The dishes we have tried so far are:- assorted non-veg bbq sizzler: absolutely delicious come out still sizzling on the plate the fries is just yummy and the chicken and fish just melt!- veg sweet corn soup: the flavour really comes through and warms you up real good!- malai kofta we had paired with the Lachcha paratha or garlic Naan: malai kofta a bit sweet, the veggies dumpling is wrapped in a ball of panneer in a smooth malai sauce- lamb roganjosh we had paired with jeera rice: the rice on its own is soo good and the rojanjosh on top I could not stop eating it!- lamb pepper stir fry: very peppery and spicy but definitely worth it!- matka malai it was bliss!The service is amazing, the atmosphere is nice and the people there makes you feel welcome!
