Worst customer service they don’t even deserve 1 star man there selling cold food with so much arrogance if you don’t know how to serve food close the shop and try something new. Guys try Amaya Indian in mall. 0/10 wondering how could they have 4.3/5 seems like all fake reviews .Okh so I don’t get the option to reply you probably you have changed it first thing i m fromToronto visited there only two days after your pathetic service me and my sister had to find a another place for food that’s how we found amaya indian in the mall secondly if you can’t fix your attitude and your service your business will close soon thirdly admit your mistake that your food , restaurant cleanliness, customer service everything is garbage. Lastly may god give some patience to your employee. And take this as a positive criticism so that you can improve your business and try to learn to admit your mistakes it will help you grow.

Best Indian food in all of Ottawa. My husband drive almost am hour from the city every few months for this restaurant. The staff are always so friendly and hospitable. The food is so flavorful and diverse. There is something for everyone, not everything is spicy certainly if you want something sweeter or milder or no spice you have options! Just went today for my birthday and they gave us free desert for the whole table to celebrate! What a wonderful surprise. Thank you so much Shafali for world class service and the most delicious food. We will be back soon!!!!

It is no where near to Authentic Indian Food.We ordered naan, palak paneer, raita and two more items. And unfortunately, everything was too sweet unlike anywhere in Indian.Although the service was good but I’m extremely sorry to say it an Indian restaurant. For all Non-Indians, or who haven't had authentic cuisine, please don't consider this as an image for all indian food.

First of all... it is no where near to Authentic Indian Food. For all Non-Indians, or who haven't had authentic cuisine; please dont consider this as an image for all indian food. The naan is sweet, unlike anywhere in India. The portions are that for a kid. Overpriced af.The only decent thing about this place is, the interior looks.I can say with utmost confidence, that this is one of the worst Indian food I've eaten, ever (Sorry to call it Indian food though).PS. The staff wasnt very humble or kind as well.

Now where do i begin!!! The place is v well appointed and has a great feel but the food just did not work! A trifle salty and well different from the Indian food one expects! We ordered butter chicken and saag paneer! Rice is served complicated with the mains !Instead of saag paneer i think they served me paneer makhani and tried to cover it up by chopping in baby spinach!Portion size is small for the money charged! definitely not value for money ! Rohan josh was too salty and returned ! We were not charged for it !Ravi the manager was vey courteous and which is why i did not give this eatery a One!The washrooms are on the first floor and sadly do not have changing tables for infants! Thankfully they are clean

This little street cafe does their own spin on traditional recipes. I asked the owner to pick a vegetarian dish for me. He gave me Palek Paneer which was lovely. The spices instead of being strong and pungent blended beautifully into almost a floral aromatic. I loved that it was perfectly balanced with flavor and fat and unlike some Indian food was not oily. Truly a lovely dish and beautiful lunch. I assume the food was prepared by the owners as they were welcoming and friendly!!

Best dal tadka I had in Canada, never thought I would find it accidentally .Beef dopeyaza was also nice, meat was a bit firm though. Finally, the Naan was delicious as well.Must try if you are in Ottawa for a short trip.

I can’t understand any negative reviews. Hands down the best naan bread I ever had. Four of us all raved about our dishes. Freshly prepared. Server was the owner and he was excellent, friendly and personable. Wine prices quite reasonable. I’d suggest you try it for yourself.

I have only ordered takeout from Shafali, so I apologize when I can't make a proper assessment of the atmosphere or service. What I got was the Butter Chicken Meal; it's a combo of butter chicken (half portion), rice, assorted vegetables, and naan. The total online came to $26.00 before taxes. I'd say this is reasonably priced for its pretty substantial portion size (butter chicken has that effect), but my frugal side would've hoped to see it a bit lower. The dish was good, and I'd say it's better than most other Indian restaurants I've been to. The naan was enough to dip through the curry, which itself was worth it. I enjoyed the sides. Very good for takeout. If I'm in the area again, I'll consider going here to dine in.
