We stumbled into this place with our three years old by pure luck. The food was delicious. We always order calamari when it's on the menu of a restaurant, and their calamari and shrimp appetizer was the best we ever had. I had the seafood calzone, my husband had the lamb pappardelle and my son spaghetti with tomato sauce. Everything was delicious. We actually had to stop our son, because he was eating it so quickly we suspected he would get a tummy ache ? That's how much he liked it. The service was super friendly and the ambiance was great. Can I also mention the fact they don't have a children menu? Everything on their menu can be made into kid size! I have never heard of that being done and that was seriously so nice, he could get whatever he wanted off the menu! This place just made it to my top restaurants and I will be back for sure!

Neat little place, has a nostalgic vibe to it with their staff coming up to you before you reach the counter asking if you'd like anything. I've gotten into the habit of taking out an individual-sized Zingara pizza that's reasonably priced at 5 dollars, and also quite tasty. They have food that can be reheated in the display case, but you can also order a fresh pizza.

Excellent pizza! We had dinner here the other evening and the service was kind, prompt and knowledgeable. We ordered margarita and Romana pizza, rigatoni, and veal Marsala. All were large portions of well prepared, freshly prepared meals. Want a casual Italian place with good food? This is it!

food is good and portion sizes are very large.you know how fancy places give you a super big plate with a really small amount of food? this is the opposite. i couldn't see my plate under the pizza.i'm gonna be eating this for the next 3 meals.brunch pizza is interesting, would recommend.gelato is meh

A nice neighborhood restaurant. Good food and good value - which is increasingly hard to find. The pizzas are big enough for two. When paired with an appetizer, the pasta portions could be shared but good intentions are forgotten when I start eating. So glad we found you!

For those who are not familiar, Frutti di Mare is a huge pizza pocket, filled with seafood such as shrimps, scallops, mussels, and squid, which is baked in a brick oven, right in front of you!Guess the cost? $5.65.I could not believe it. Prices have gone up significantly everywhere, and often the rates of increase are not justified , or even as high as 15% in a single year. Del Piacere has managed to keep their costs low for us consumers.I like to see more restaurants like this, thinking about us customers. I hope to see more of us who love good food, prepared by wonderful chefs who love to cook, to support a restaurant like Del Piacere. Go there often whenever you pass by Preston Street!I meditate on good food, and Del Piacere is one of them :-).

We were really excited for a special birthday dinner during our 2-hour layover. But things went south at the restaurant. It wasn't busy, yet we waited an hour for cold starters, and our main course wasn't even being cooked. We tried to be patient and understanding, but not the birthday celebration we hoped for.

I was a bit disappointed with the food I ordered for takeout tonight. I ordered the calzoni capriccio and it was not what I expected. The pieces of sausage and artichoke were huge and I only tasted the Gorgonzola in two bites. My sister order the gnocchi and she had a huge piece of cheese rind in it (it was like 2”x5” big).I really enjoy the gelato they serve so I had high hopes for the food. This was my first time ordering food and overall it was an unexpectedly disappointing experience.
