As avid "foodies" who used to live in Montreal (spoiled, yes), my husband and I were excited to try this new restaurant, especially since the options in Hawkesbury are limited. We've gone 3 times and it's good, but not fantastic. I've definitely had far better Thai food elsewhere, but for the range of dishes and flavors, it's fine. I find the meat, especially beef dishes, somewhat tough in particular. Service can be slow as well. What irritates me most is that their hours are SO limited! People in Hawesbury eat out on the weekends, especially Sunday lunch and they are closed on Sunday and only open on Saturday after 4 pm. Other days, they close between 2 and 4. In short, they are missing a great opportunity to gain clientelle on the weekends. We may visit again, but if something else opened (any good Asian really) we'd likely forgo this place.

We are a huge fan of Thai food and decided to give this place a try.The red curry was literally the best we have tried in the city. Amazing flavours. The only downside was the there were few vegetables and hardly any chicken in the take out container. Mostly sauce. We would try again, perhaps this was a one off.

This is one of the best Thai restaurants we've been to in Ottawa. Gracious hosts, and wonderful foods. I highly recommend any of the salads. The tamarind shrimp were awesome! I've never seen those on a venue before.

Ate at the new Hawkesbury location: Incredible, authentic Thai cuisine. Super great service only surpassed by the amazing food. Had: Chicken Satay, Fresh Spring Rolls, Panang Curry, Green Curry, Pad Thai, and Crispy Tofu, with a Sticky Mango dessert. Perfect for individual or sharing plates. Cannot recommend enough and needed in the area. Will be back - regularly.

Food was delicious and staff friendly and helpful. Pad khee mao had the right amount of heat while the veg pad pack was tasty with great selection of fresh veggies and perfectly cooked tofu. Definitely will be back!

Recently I was a patron of the Thai Kitchen on Bank Street. I first ordered an appetizer, Pork Wonton @ $10, unfortunately the pork wonton did not have much flavour. I next ordered the main dish which was eggplant curry with tofu, the taste was sufficient; however, a bowl of rice was put on the table along with the main course. Since I did not order a side of rice, I had to assume that rice came with the meal. I was quite shocked to see that I was charged for a side order of rice that I did not order. If wanted to pay for a bowl of rice, I would've ordered a bowl of rice!. I will NOT return to this restaurant.

I tried the taro sticky rice roll wrapped in banana leaves from their booth at the Orleans Farmers' Market. It was $3. It was interesting, but a bit small and too oily. There also was not that much taro. I'm glad I tried it, but will try something else next time.
