Worst chocolate chip cookie I've ever had (more like an overpriced bite of sand). I've had gluten free vegan desserts before... this was flavour free. Disappointing. Also a bit of a grimy spot.

The atmosphere, the people, and the place are a 10/10 but I’m kinda shocked at how low quality and overpriced the food is. Got a cold, sandy chocolate chip cookie slapped onto a plate and paid close to $5 for it. Didn’t think to ask about the price beforehand (bc it wasn’t listed and I figured how expensive could a chocolate chip cookie be). Social anxiety won that day. Seriously though, I thought it was pretty incredible that a place so good could screw its customers over so bad… not a great feel. I know this sounds dramatic but it was genuinely the worst cookie I have ever tasted … I didn’t even know cookies could taste that bad. Eat before coming here or go somewhere else. In my heart of hearts I just hope they get a better caterer.

I have had coffee, lattes, cappucinos from a bunch of places. This place however was a last minute stop during our 1 night stay in Ottawa and I am glad we made the detour. They have the best tasting cappuccino. The perfect taste and sweetness. If I lived nearby, it would for sure be one of my go to spots.We also tried the grilled cheese with apple and pastries and they were amazing that we are now adding apple to our grilled cheese.Hope to come back again!
Such a cool coffeehouse vibe with art all over the walls and a choice of many rooms to hang out. Art house is situated in funky old Victorian home. This is the coolest place in Ottawa. Unfortunately there are no specialty coffee choices. Everything is fairly standard but the pastries are amazing and there are gluten free choices. The Wi-Fi is around 40 to 50 and there's great ergonomically correct seating.
