I will not darken this door step the food was nothing special, and the service was sub-par . You would think that with a lot of competition around there would be an exceptional service. I do not write posts like this to be hateful, but there was no resolve or contact t from said establishment. The main issue I had was that I was double charged for an order and explained that this happened and would be an easy fix with simple math . But nope i was told that I would have to contact my bank . I will take the loss so I don't have to deal with this anymore I guess the business needs the money more than I do . I just wish I could get a receipt for a charity .

Ok. Here deal. Use to spend 150 a mth on take out meals I pickup. Wanted to order now see your site asking for tip. No more orders. So tired. WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO TIP? WHY DO YOU DARE TO ASK FOR ONE? Great food and very friendly service. I’m usually a regular and my go to dishes are the jardo fried chicken wings and the jumbo shrimp with broccoli. Out of all the neighbouring Chinese restaurants I’ve tried, Wans has the best chicken wings around. Don’t forget to order them with a side of their homemade chili sauce.

Wan’s Chinese is the best in Barrhaven by far. They always come through with top shelf Szechuan chicken and the Cantonese chow mein is always proper.This family owned business is run very clean. You can see right down in there kitchen. One time I was late to pickup my food (my fault) and they recooked it for me as they didn’t want me to get it cold. The food doesn’t leave that strong MSG taste in your mouth like other places.For whoever made the review about there food being late on Xmas eve, you should know that’s and New Year’s Eve are the busiest days of the year for these kind of businesses. Cut them some slack. Pick it up if you want faster service.Overall I truly give them 9.7/10 from over 50 times ordering from them. Very few issues over there years. I’ve been a customer for 15+ years and whenever someone orders from elsewhere I tell them they need to get their Chinese from Wan’s.

We ordered the Cantonese chow mein and chicken balls. While the chow mein flavour was fine the broccoli was brown and off. The chicken balls were very over cooked. I wouldn’t recommend either of these dishes.

I’ve recently ordered Cantonese Fried Noodles and Shanghai Noodles. One word to sum it up DELICIOUS!!!!!! Very GENEROUS Portions. I had to split it up into two meals. And don’t forget those tasty egg rolls. Huge something tTo bite in and NOT Salty.
