2 years ago I had the best burrito I’ve ever had In my life there, original owners sold it. New owners need to iron out some kinks. Portion size for a 20$ burrito was abysmal, very cheap on toppings, didn’t taste as I remembered. I don’t Know if that was because I was a little off put for having to bargain for the toppings I wanted or if it has gotten worse in respect to quality but. Legitimately disappointed. Only intend this to be constructive criticism for the new management. As another reviewer wrote. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it

I'd like to address the new management who purchased the business. IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT. I've noticed subtle changes in the flavor of the sauce's and big changes in portion size. You should stick to how the original owner did things. I ordered a burrito from hell and it was the same size as the large. By reading the other reviews others have noticed this as well. The past owner built up a good clientele of repeat customers and if you keep going down this road the business will end up like The Spaghetti House before the original owner brought it back. Please don't run Dantes into the ground as it had the best burrito in Peterborough.

I had barbacoa burrito. It was one of best ever i had. Sauces are amazing. Veggies are mouthful and meat was perfectly cooked. Guy at counter suggested me this and it was perfect decision. Pocket friendly and totally worth it. Would definitely recommend this place.

I was in town visiting family and we came here. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately tho my sister and I both got food poisoning…. Maybe the meat wasn’t cooked properly I don’t know…. The chicken and pork definitely need to be cooked longer.

Best burrito bowl I've ever eaten in my life & I'm not even joking.If a burrito bowl does not have chipotle but still AMAZES you, that's how you know the flavours are on point. Really great two sauces, I forgot the name. Amazing bowl. I'm impressed. Love it.

We picked this place while coming back from a long 3 hrs drive just due to good rating and no regrets. It was perfect, huge quantity and tasty food.Great host and all the members are so supportive and helpful. A very good team of people supporting this.Thank you.

Changed the review from 5-star to 1-star (wish I could give a ZERO) because:-Absolutely horrible customer service-One of the most expensive burritos in town and yet they will literally serve you a dry, rice & lettuce bowl-The employees literally make a face and roll their eyes when you ask them to add less or more of anything. You guys are one of the most expensive, why so stingy?-The flavours are not the same, I guess it’s because of the way they make the burritos.The entire vibe of the store was so weird. Judging from that the management might not care enough to improve.Hence I wouldn’t waste a single penny, especially when there are other places that are way better in price, quality, quantity and attitude…

I used to come here a lot! I visited for the first time in years. The food was still tasty like I remembered. I found the meats and sauces to taste exactly like before.My sister and husband both agreed. We ate inside and it was a bit of a different vibe from years ago, probably less students since covid and new ownership. I wouldn't say that the new ownership changed anything on the menu, and I disagree with other commentors that the quality or value has tanked.My only critique is that the serving staff was inexperienced. They made some rookie mistakes in the ordering of ingredients, portioning them, and weren't quite as efficient slinging burritos as before. In my eyes, that's no big deal since it will come with time. Additionally, they went above and beyond by offering us a discount for the weird errors.I hope folks can continue to give them a chance so that this small business can continue to open. It remains the best burrito place I've ever eaten at.

Don’t let the old building charm/characteristics scare you off, very good food and service. Barbacoa and the Pollo Asado burritos and their sauces are the best I’ve had in Peterborough. Will be back for more. 10/10

Absolutely amazing . My husband and I haven’t been here in years and decided to take the hour drive to have a burrito from our fav place . Everything tasted amazing and the staff is so nice ! We’ll definitely be making the drive again to come back . Thanks again :)
