Go where the locals go! A highly recommended breakfast spot in East City Peterborough with a loyal following. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is a cool ptbo vibe. There is a beautiful interior with old style booth or bar seating. In the summer months, there is a cool sunny patio area. Trust me, you want bacon, homefries and eggs cooked to perfection? Stop by East City Coffee Shop!
Sooo good! Haven't visited in years, but breakfast was so awesome this morning we will definitely be back more often! The homefries are spectacular, and I really appreciated how toasted the English muffin was for my eggs benedict! Perfect! Most places do not toast the English muffin anywhere near as much as it needs to be. Generous portions and plenty of refills on the coffee & tea! Good thing to know in advance, it is cash only. See you next time!! ?

Very friendly staff! Service is fast! Food is great!The owner probably knows exactly how many people are in the restaurant at any given time. He sees all. It makes for great service.
