This location is consistently delicious, it is almost always the same people working which is where the consistency is coming from in my opinion. The vibe of this location makes me remember how amazing it was to be a kid growing up in the 90s in Canada!! This is the only place in all of Peterborough to get an authentication Canadian sub!!

Today is February 28th 2024. Been going to the sub. Shops since they opened in the 60s. Went there today. Ask for ham sub with the works got home. What did I get lettuce and 2 slices of tomato? Nothing else no.Sub sauce not even a napkin if I hadn't driven so far away. I would have brought it back. The food was good but there was hardly anything in it. I won't be back. Thank you

I love how the Sub is pressed down hard. I like this thin structure. The Louisiana Meat could be more tender & cooked longer though but it's very good overall. Great friendly service.

I strayed from my turkey sub and got grilled chicken. There is nothing grilled about it. It was like warm and had been boiled. The server cut my sub like a pita and stuffed in all the toppings in to a squished bun.The chicken has a texture of rubber. The honey mustard had no taste.Was a waste of money.The server got the veggies and sauce in and walked away. Not sure where he was going as he forgot the meat was in the microwave. Restaurant was not busy at that time.

Recently ordered the seafood sub at the Landsdowne St. location, Peterborough. First off, the newly renovated store looks great.My sub was delicious and I am a picky girl! The girl who served me was patient and offered some interesting options for this sub. Loved the finished product!It is sometimes quite busy when I have visit, but the food is always fresh and delicious and worth the brief wait. I will be back for more!Vegetarian options: Meatless meatballs, many fresh veg toppingsDietary restrictions: Keto buns available and lots of fresh veggies,

1 star is too generous!My wife ordered 2 subs for us for dinner, she couldn't even finish hers as it was inedible.The bread was stale, The veggies tasted strange like they had been sitting out for a while and the breaded chicken was soggy. The portion she did eat made her sick to her stomach.Service was poor as well, the person making the sub didn't know what they were doing as they tried to grill just the bread and cheese before adding toppings? They argued when my wife pointed out that maybe the other toppings should be on the sub before it's grilled.We will never go back to this location which is a shame as we have frequented it in the past.

This Mr. Sun on Lansdown in Peterborough is the cleanest, best run Mr. Sub I have been to in the 43 years of coming to Mr. Sun locations throughout Ontario. They are the Greatest !!!Parking: Lots of parking spaces - spots are nice & wide.
