This is by far my favourite vegetarian sandwich in town! The tofu sandwich is just the best. Staff are wonderful, clean space and great sandwiches.

Sandwiches are great but the “Wienery” around the side isn’t. Just south of $30 for 3 hotdogs. Just the dogs no drinks. Concept is there, execution isn’t. BLT dog with a leaf of lettuce, 6 huge chunks of tomato, burnt bacon crumble not fit for a salad and a river of mayonnaise. Poutine dog would have been good if the gravy wasn’t water.

I'm ashamed I've lived in Peterborough for so long and I'm just trying this place now. Truly one of the best sandwiches I've had. I got the California club with macaroni salad. Everything tasted very fresh and the atmosphere was relaxing and homey. Will definitely be back anytime I'm craving a sandwich. I love me a sandwich and if you do too then this is the place to be! I was thinking of a Reuben but then the Mike Taylor caught my eye! Smoked meat on rye with bell peppers and caramelized onions, melted brie and a tough of Dijon! Delicious!

First time eating here. Such a warm and welcoming place. Had the club sandwich and potato salad. My husband had a reuben sandwich and mushroom soup. Food was amazing. Definitely recommend this place and will be back soon. Thankyou for making our visit a great place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere.
Sam’s is a must stop if you visit Peterborough. Sam is committed to shopping locally and a huge believer in supporting the community and its downtown - sorely needed. And the sandwiches are absolutely out of this world. You can never miss if you get the special, and the pasta salad is ridiculous.Interior of the shop is clean, plenty of seating, and you can tell how much the people working at the shop actually care about each other and their work. 10/10, no notes.
$20 for a mediocre messy sandwich with a half a bottle of hollandaise sauce. I know the owner she likes to try for sympathy about these times on media but improve what you are giving people. Shoppe is perfectly set up for hippies who will give her their last $20 bill for a mediocre $5 sandwich.

Absolutely amazing. The food tastes incredible and all the servings are large.As a person with a severe food allergy (celiac), everyone was very understanding and handled all my food properly. They explained what they had that I could eat and what they could make gluten free and let me customize my food to make it safe for me to eat.Staff are lovely and the restaurant itself is so cute. Everything is clean and the little nick-nacks around are adorable.HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!Vegetarian options: Lots of options!!Dietary restrictions: Respectful and careful with all food and equipment

I'm so pleased to have gone ahead with the sandwich platters at Sam's Place for our wedding day lunch. We actually grabbed lunch from Sam's on the day we got engaged so it was a nice full circle moment.We got 2 platters which was plenty of food to feed roughly 12 people for lunch and have some sandwiches post wedding as well. It had an amazing assortment, some of which I would never of chosen myself but ended up being some of my favourites.They were able to deliver the sandwiches to our wedding venue in Cavan for 25 dollars which was worth it in my opinion. Highly recommend anything off of the menu!
