Inconsistent. One night we had a great time-excellent food, good drinks and a lovely server. The next time we had a surprisingly disappointing experience - food was subpar with cold fries, my martini was too salty to drink (2nd attempt was just as bad) and our server was in her own world?

The food and service was very good and the atmosphere nice and not to noisy. I don't expect a place like this to have a huge menu but the menu is very limited. I also don't mind paying more for really good food and although everything was good, price wise I found paying a lot more here for the same stuff/quality I can get down the street for a lot less.

I absolutely love what the owners of the El P have done to this gorgeous heritage building! The artwork, the decor and the beautiful lights work together to create a beautiful atmosphere. I am so impressed with the food too. Top quality and large portions. I have enjoyed brunch, lunch and dinner at this location. The chefs have created a unique and delicious menu! I enjoy having meetings at this location and just experienced my first event in this space. It is gorgeous and unique. I appreciate that all of the staff offer a welcoming, inclusive vibe and great service. If you are planning an event in the future, I highly recommend this venue! I appreciate that this restaurant is very community oriented and offer really cool experiences with dinner and a show options for the downtown! Thank you. I will be coming back!My absolute recommendation is the Truffle Fries but everything I have ordered, I have enjoyed thoroughly!

Been to this restaurant before and the food is awesome. Nice place, too.Buddies and I were planning on getting dinner there last night. We had no reservations, so we knew we might be turned away. We got there and the restaurant was empty. We asked about a table and they said they were fully booked and going to be full in about an hour and a half, but if we could be quick, we could have a table. We were grateful and promised we could be quick.We sat for 20 mins and didn’t talk to a single server. Like.. NOBODY talked to us. We were the ONLY PEOPLE IN THERE! All the staff were gabbing at the bar at the back. If they wanted us out quick, you’d think they would take our order right away? We were PISSED. We got up, I said thanks for the service, and we left.We went next door to Agave and had food on the table in 15 mins. No regrets.
