“The Ridges is a welcoming, well appointed, local pub. The appointments/games contain: two dart boards, a Foosball table, a pool table, and upwards of twelve big screens showing various sports events. While I've only had a very savoury and thouroughly enjoyable small greek salad with sliced chicken breast, I can feel the care that the kitchen put into their craft. Everyone I've met there has been incredibly friendly and accommodating. The Ridges Pub is a great neighborhood gathering spot!“

“Great local pub with a variety of food options on the menu. They are really known for their wings but a lot of food on the menu is good. Amanda was our last server and she was excellent and was very attentive and very knowledgeable on the menu.“
“Food was great. Seems like it is "local" for the folks there. Was not very comfortable. Tables too close to pool tables or darts or in the back. Server was friendly and polite food was great. I just felt like I didn't belong.“
“Im a realtor and I often take my clients out for treats. Been to this place fewer times! The quality of food and the service is AMAZING! ABSOLUTELY VALUE FOR MONEY!! The only downside? They do not have a much selection of wines. But, you really get super amazing great quality food and even the quantity of food AMAZING! Prices are VERY REASONABLE compared so many other places in GTA and DURHAM! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!“
“A good, local place to enjoy a drink and watch whatever sport is interesting you (they have many screens). The food is OK, as is the service. This is a good option if you live locally. It is no gastropub, but serves acceptable food, and has a good selection of beer on tap.“
“I am surprised it has taken me so long to write a review of The Fox because it's practically a Sunday ritual to enjoy their $17.99 burger and pint special. I have never seen a better pub value than that. For an extra dollar or two, you can upgrade the special to any of their other burgers and I tend to oscillate between the Peppercorn Burger (swiss cheese and big onion ring) and the Montrealer (cheddar cheese, mushrooms, and BBQ sauce). I think I might change my burger choice to remain slightly mysterious and unpredictable to the attentive staff, especially Glenn the bartender who always drops by to say hello. If you like sports, screens are throughout the bar with a wall sized projector on the south side. The selection of beers should satisfy everyone. I'm an IPA person and I've got the choice of Goose Island or Mill Street. Or both :)While Sundays are surely my favourite day, there are specials throughout the week. Mondays trades the burger and pint special for a steak and pint at ten bucks more but it's a generous steak. Wednesdays are second to Sundays because it usually means a substantial fried chicken breast sandwich (please bring back the verision with crispy onions!)The Fox is the definition of a neighbourhood pub. Cozy and you always feel welcome. There is no shortage of pubs in the area but we always go back to the Fox. I say that with a big of sadness because in a few years, the commercial area will be torn down to make way for a large condo development. The Fox has a sister pub in Scarbourough called the Black Dog. Perhaps someday, it will become the new Sunday place.Parking: there is ample parking in the front and back of the pub“
