“Excellent café in the Port Dover area! It's located off the strip, in a residential area, down the street from the Farmer's Market. I can't remember who told me about this place, but I subsequently started following their fb page and their offerings looked so tantalizing, that I made it a point to come here and visit. They also serve light lunches, but I came here for the sweets. They have a cute, covered patio where you can enjoy your food. However, during my visit, I saw lotsa locals swing by to grab takeout! It's not cheap (cake slices ~$6), but the Urban Slice that I had was FRESH, not too sweet! I would've loved to have picked up more items, but I just came from the farmer's market with a pack of butter tarts, so anything else would've been OTT. Cute place with quality baked goods!“
“Been here couple of times and no complaints. The food was always fresh, positive attitude of staffs and a nice environment in a nice location makes it a perfect place to go frequently. Manager is more oriented towards customer service so all should definitely try this place.“
“This morning I stopped in after my workout for a coffee. While eyes up all the delicious looking deserts. I remembered i’m an adult and can have desert for breakfast. I grabbed 1 of each flavour of cheesecake to try. OMG it was so good. The caramel cheese cake is my favourite. But now I need to find out what else I have been missing out on and try all their other deserts. I also really liked the coffee. Looks like Salinas is my new post workout stop. Trying everything else they offer on the menu is my next goal.“
“These are the best little cheesecakes ever in little Simcoe, unreal. I was in town as my mum was in the ICU & then passed away. I wanted to do a little something for the very kind nurses at NGH and was looking for bakeries. I stumbled upon The Little Cheesecake Company and was sold. I ordered 9 for the nurses and had to get a few for myself of course. Every single one was delicious. I wish I had my son with me as he loves cheesecake, I sent him pictures to tease him. Keep going because your cheesecakes are amazing!“
“Really enjoyed our Sunday breakfast here- the place isn’t fancy but the food is really good, quick service and refills of local coffee. We also picked up a Saskatoon berry pie, raisin bread and some dinner rolls. We would definitely return when we’re in the area.“
“Today I was in Simcoe for a stress test and I had time to go for a quick bite between tests. My daughter who was at home in Brantford Googled your Cafe and sent me the info. So I walked over and ordered a ham and havarti sandwich... let me tell you..... omg, it was absolutely the best sandwich I have had in a while . It was so tasty and fresh and loaded with mouth watering goodness. I'm now back in Brantford and craving another and unfortunately for me I do not drive, but next time I'm in Simcoe I am making a stop at your little nook . Thank you!!! .... p.s please open a Cafe out here in Brantford we need a Cafe like yours here!!“
“My colleagues and I were in town working on a project, and numerous people nearby recommend we have lunch here. What a great recommendation! I had oxtail and all the fixings and a beef Jamaican patty. The portions were huge, the food was immensely flavourful, and it was so great when the owner Kathy came out to check on our table and ask how everything was. Wonderful customer service and a great experience.“
“Great Bread & Bakery treats - staff are friendly and knowledgeable They feature different breads and can accommodate all allergies. Get on their weekly newsletter - make an order for pickup. Great for celebrating holidays with your favourite breads.“
“We had heard good things and we were impressed with the selection of Gluten free items but we were treated rudely by the purple haired lady at the counter. She was very abrupt and unhelpful. She seemed to not want us there! The cookies we ended up buying were very tasty, but hard as rocks. We will try again next time we visit Port Dover, but honestly left feeling disappointed.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
