“Stumbled upon Queenie’s Bakery while visiting Port Hope. So happy I did! Passionate baker, Adam, was so warm, welcoming and hospitable. Chantelle, the bakery’s barista and front of the house server, is a ray of sunshine and was so helpful! Now for the BAKED GOODS…elevated in all categories! Flavour, freshness, execution, presentation and size! I had to share so I returned the next day and picked up more of the Easter cupcakes - chocolate cake with soft almost fondant icing with freshly grated coconut sprinkled on top and decorated with Cadbury mini eggs! They were so delicious. I stopped by my place of work enroute to home to drop them off for our team. They went bananas and ate them all almost as soon as the beautiful box opened! Adam’s Hello Dollies, Nanaimo Bars and Pecan, caramel chocolate squares are all so delicious too. Brought these goodies home too. The Chai Tea with almond milk can easily go toe to toe with Starbucks’ version. I plan on preordering more goodies for Easter. Thanks for the Port Hope hospitality Adam and Chantelle!“

“I recently had my baby shower and my friends ordered the cake from Lalies, it was absolutely delicious!! Both the cupcakes and Cake were out of the world!! I am so thrilled with the presentation and more importantly the taste! Will definitely order sweet treats from them again!“
“Betty's pies and Tarts are addictive!! No matter who comes to Betty's they will always find something amazing to treat themselves to. May it be some amazing Tarts with a wide selection of filling; their incredible pies or mouth watering desserts. Betty's never disappoints. My favourite is the melt in your mouth strawberry rhubarb tart!! It is the perfect combination of sweet and sour without being overly sweet. This is the place to go for your sweet tooth cravings. ?Parking: The parking lot can fit about 6 cars but I never seem to have a problem finding a spot.“
“The buttermilk seed bread is the best bakery bread we’ve ever had. It’s our go to on Wednesdays or Fridays. Added bonus is it freezes in really well so we can cut a large loaf in half and save the other half for later. So happy we discovered Millstone Bakery“
“I was visiting a friend in Cobourg and was a little early, so I thought I would grab myself a coffee and a little treat.The staff were friendly, the coffee was good, and the treat was delicious.The general seating area was very clean, as was the washroom.All in all, a great place to have a quick stop.“
“We tried cinnamon raisin sourdough bread awhile ago. Sitting with friends playing cards we devoured almost a whole small loaf save for a few pieces we sent home. A new favourite!! I love the friendly atmosphere..the chats in the lineup...trying new items...never disappointed unless they're out! A friend and I shared a chicken club sandwich..made fresh...worth the extra wait(weight!) Neither one of us finished our halves. Plus..the loaf only cost $2. Well worth the visit if you come from out of town“
