Stopped in on the way home from the Toronto area, and was the choice of chance as both my partner and I were hungry from the crazy GTA after holiday drive, and we still had a few more hours to go. I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised with our random choice and will keep in mind next time down out that way!Good quality food, some options for rolls that I haven't had before ( I enjoyed some of the names of the rolls, we had a good chuckle) and the rolls were really yummy and decently priced!Small complaint, some of the rolls were REALLY big, would make it difficult for most to eat it properly/eloquently

My husband and I have visited and ordered from Sugoi a few times - and it never disappoints! Even though we had an abnormally long wait when ordering last night, the food was delicious and we were provided with free miso soup and a tasty dessert for our trouble.The people are always friendly, and the food is so yummy. Last night we had the Tofu Pockets and the French Kiss & Sexy Back rolls. If you're in Port Hope - go check them out!

They were really full on Friday but I must admit the service was excellent despite being so busy. It was always a service with a smile. They were apologetic for the delays and we were given complementary soup, salad (both black sesame and yuzu was yummy!) and other items. The King Kong roll whilst isn’t too Japanese, is a fusion roll but it is highly recommended. Taste really good. The others were authentic Japanese and well done. Very tasty and flavors were well balanced! Plenty parking as well on the side of the holding. We will be back!!Parking: Good sized parking lot.

An authentic Japanese restaurant with good quality and tasty food. Friendly environment and very helpful staff. We came twice during a trip in Port Hope. We ordered the party trays and different dinner box and lunch box udon combos. We are happy with all our food.

Best sushi I’ve had, it’s to order not an “all you can eat” so the quality is kept high and you don’t end up with room temp sashimi.Vegetarian options: They have several roll options that are vegan.Kid-friendliness: They are always stoked to see my daughter and do a great job making her feel special.
