After hearing good things about U92 Spice House and reading great reviews, I was very surprised and disappointed when I finally tried it recently. The food was fine, but it didn't taste authentic. For example, none of the dishes' flavours were what I expected based on ordering dishes with the same names at other Indian/Thai restaurants; the samosa filling was mushy rather than chunky; and the naan bread seemed store bought. I was also picking bay leaf pieces out of my dish the entire time, which was annoying since those are not supposed to be eaten. Other than the bay leaf thing, the food was fine, just not authentic.

Love U92!The food is amazing every time!Portion sizes are fantastic, my husband and I usually get 2 additional meals out of our order. The portion of meat to rice in the Butter Chicken and Mediterranean Chicken is just perfect. We can’t recommend this place enough.Kid-friendliness: My daughter orders the chicken fingers and fries. There is always lots in her order, definitely left overs for the next day
Come on people how can this be 4.7 out of 5. We got 5 dishes last night and they all appeared to be day old weekend left overs, with more rice in the dishes than other food. As for the "naan" bread, has nobody had the real stuff, last night's was stall Costco type Naan bread, which if you have had the real stuff fresh from the oven you would know the u92 stuff is terrible. That was a $150 waste of money, I wish the Port Hope Thai place had been open, it has great food.
Have a great experience every time. Sometimes I let the owner pick a meal for me. I have never been disappointed. The food is delicious. The service is friendly and my kids enjoy popping in and saying hello.
