My family recently had a get together with around 11 people. We have ordered from Boathouse Grill in the past so decided to again this time around. We ordered the Pork soulaki dinner for 2 (comes with 6 skewers) and 2x the Chicken souvlaki dinner for 4 (comes with 12 skewers each). In total that would be 30 skewersl, which be plenty.Once we brought the food home and started to serve our guests, we noticed some very disappointing changes. The amount of meat skewers in each combo had decreased by 2 skewers, so instead of 30 we received 24. We also were not given salad dressing, which I know can happen. We looked up the menu again to see if we looked at an old menu or the wrong menu in general. We even called to let them know we got less than we thought and asked if the menu had changed. The lady who answered said they in fact DID change things BUT had not been able to change their menus yet (she said they've been trying to change it hut have had some difficulty). We were very upset about this. If things change and cannot be shown on a menu, the customer should know about this when calling to order. We now get less food for the same $$ and felt horrible when our guests were wanting more. The rice and potatoes were plentiful but we assume they just add more to replace the skewers that are no longer given. The food itself also was not as tasty. Very dry and overcooked meat, rice and potatoes lacked flavour, the pita was hard and very minimal salad for our guests. This was our go-to for get togethers in the past but we have seen a decline and with the high price for less food and lower quality, we will not be returning customers. If wondering, we spent around $260.00. We were not offered money back or anything for the menu change. Very sad.

It's an outdoor patio, the atmosphere is the lake front; I enjoy that. I only ever have a hot dog, fries, and ice cream; they are always quite delicious. The ladies at the counter are quiet but friendly and efficient. This is one of my favourite lunch places (close to work).

The best thing about this place is the view. The seating is limited, so you'd have to time it so you don't get here on a public holiday. The food is ok, nothing earth shattering. The staff is friendly and helpful.

They charged us for 3 single scoops of ice cream instead of a 3 scoop which ended up being over double the cost and there was no way to see this ahead of time because nothing is itemized on their POS terminal or receipt. They also got one of 3 flavours wrong. When trying to address the mistake in our order, the lady working there began yelling almost immediately and said “Take it or don’t I don’t care you already gave us the money, order better next time”. We left shortly thereafter, not wanting to cause a scene over ice cream. The kawartha ice cream was good, but probably won’t be going back during that shift

The Boathouse Grill is a small takeout place next to the marina. Has a pretty good menu of items to choose from including burgers, fresh cut fries, poutine, souvlaki, lamb on a pita, local beers and Kawartha Dairy ice cream. The food itself is average, but the view of the marina is very nice. The Boathouse Grill is open during the summer months, so it's a great place to go on a sunny day. Grab some food, a drink or an ice cream and enjoy the view by the water.

What a great find last night for dinner. We had the souvlaki dinner for 2 and it fed 4 of us no problem. Great taste great service very glad we checked this place out.

Love the boathouse grill! Their Soulvaki Dinner is the BEST. When they are closed over the colder months we've tried to find somewhere who makes it just as good but no luck. It's a must go spot for sure!

Last Thursday after a day of campaigning and knocking on doors we stopped at had lunch at this hidden gem in Port Perry right on the water beside Port Perry Marina. Awesome Greek food. A view to match and Old Flame beer to boot !
