Ordered a few items from Akane Sushi for delivery. All of the items were packaged well and came with sauces and utensils. It also came with complimentary miso soup. The tempura was light and crunchy and as good as if you ordered it at the restaurant. The jap chae was another favorite even though it's just glass noodles. It was quite flavorful. The Love A set (for 2) includes 40 pieces. It may not look like much for two people, but is plenty filling. It includes some of my favorite sushi, such as uni and unagi. For the most part, it's standard quality that you'd get at a sushi restaurant. But given the circumstances, having delivery from Akane Sushi was a delightful way to spend an evening in.

Overall quality is not bad. The salmon, scallops and uni are good. The toro sushi and sashimi were not good. It was not fresh and not melted in my mouth when I ate it. Most importantly, there was a little rock inside the salmon sushi which I found during chewing it. Luckily, I didn't bite it too hard so my teeth were fine.

I always get Love A and 45 piece sashimi and am always amazed by the size of cut I get with the fish.
