Best chicken Teppanyaki I’ve ever had honesty. Their sauce is drinkable. But for a Saturday night there were only 4 other people in the whole restaurant. The prices are also quite high. We spent $200 for three people on chicken and steak and didn’t even get any alcohol. The servers and chef were super nice and friendly and very attentive. I’d love to see this place busier. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid like 25+ years ago.

Great quality food, amazing service. We've been there twice already to eat their set teppanyaki menus. Lobster Fois Gras combo was not disappointing at all. On the pricier side but can't get good quality food for cheap nowadays. They have private rooms for large parties. Owner is so sweet and friendly.

Extremely overpriced for mediocre sushi. Very fishy and to top it off, they hide the 18% tip. We paid an additional tip on top of the 18%.

Really sad to see how downhill this restaurant has gone. Used to be one of my favorites. Was in the neighborhood ans thought I'd revisit. Went for the sushi and sashimi set A. Cost $98 (4 pieces of sushi, ONE scallop cut in half to claim 2 pieces of sashimi. 9 pieces of sashimi that was cut so thick they were like cubes. Gross. A roll covered in spicy mayo and overly fishy. Even the seaweed on itwas stale) 90% of the fish taste really fishy and old. Never have I had blue tuna that was actually mushy. Seafood tasted like it's been in the fridge way too long and definitely not fresh. Also had the beef ramen. Also disgusting. It was a pile of mush supposedly with truffle oil in it but tasted like instant noodles out of a pack. Dish itself was overly sweet yet tasteless otherwise. Paid $170 after tax and tip for a meal that was beyond gut wrenching and lacking anything of quality. If I could give zero stars for the food. I would. On top of it all they hid the 18% tip in the bill and don't mention it. So i ended up giving practically a 40% tip. That is some fraudulent business practice. I hope nobody goes to this restaurant ever again.

I won't lie, I ditched the kids to eat here and it was amazing (the food is amazing).Highly recommend coming here if you can splurge! The sashimi is so fresh and sweet, definitely one of the best in Toronto , if not the best. The quality of all the food here are top notch and the taste is impeccable.the service is amazing !

Great food, though prepare for high prices. Also shocked by the forced 20% service charge at the end without warning. We had enjoyed the meal, but that left a real sour taste.

Can't say much has changed In the last 10yrs. Same decor same type of food.It is a decent wasn't wowed and wasn't unpleasant. Teppenyaki restaurant. The show was just fire and fire and fire honestly just lighting stuff on fire is pretty boring and nothing new. Entertaining for younger kids though. Wagyu is now available on their menu but compared to other places I wouldn't eat wagyu here it definitely wasn't amazing and almost a waste. Overall I think if u want a quiet place for dinner that isn't full of people this is pretty good. But if you want decent teppenyaki probably not the most ideal choice.

Overpriced forced to pay 18% tip they say it’s a company policy hostess is unfriendly and was frustrated when you were not ready or questioned any thing ! Won’t return

My family has been coming here for about 15 years for Teppanyaki, maybe more. We didn't go for several years before COVID as we moved further away, but finally we returned in March 2023. The place has been renovated and looks very nice. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. I don't think the show was on par with how it used to be, but the food was delicious and overall we had a great time. It is sad to see some very negative reviews of the and I hope that the ownership addresses this because I have only ever had a great time here and wish the same for everyone else. Given the price, guests deserve nothing less than stellar.

As a restaurant I have no complaints. Place was clean spacious and friendly staff. Food was tasty. However, as a teppanyaki restaurant they have room for improvement. The ones I have been to are more of a meal and a show, where the teppanyaki chef is entertaining and spatula are flipping in the air. We got some 2ft tall flames but that was about it. I would give full 5 stars if the fun factor was improved.FYI the restaurant is at the very southwest corner of the plaza.

The restaurant looks fine from appearance, yet Air conditioner was down as we walked in for lunch. Tried the Teppanyaki set menu. Obviously the chef is stingy in applying butter when cooking. As a result, the food is of average level and not matching the setting of the place at all. The owner lady was not that friendly at checkout and applied 15% tip rate to the payment without notification. Never step in the place again.

This restaurant proves there is no cap on creativity when it comes to teppanyaki and sushi. We were there for a birthday celebration and our family had a wonderful dinner and show experience. The quality of the meat and seafood was fresh, with a front row seat which you wouldn’t want to blink when the chef is in action. Will definitely come back for the private dining experience.

A childhood favourite but no longer the same since owner change? Pricing does not pair up with food quality (premium price, questionable food quality). Mandatory gratuities of 18% even for party of 2. Reco is to find another teppanyaki restaurant...won't be coming back again.
