We had our daughters baptism celebration here and we absolutely loved everything! Food was amazing, staff was amazing and prices were affordable. Will definitely be back soon!

Complete disappointment. My family and I have been regular customers of Astoria since the first location on the Danforth. We began coming to this location when it opened in Richmond Hill. We walked in this evening with our two young children for a Sunday night family dinner and we were greeted abruptly by a man who told us we can wait at a table but he will “not even give us a glass of water” as they were too busy to serve us. Complete and utter arrogance. My husband and I immediately walked out. This is not the way we expect to be treated as customers and a complete embarrassment to our family and children. We will definitely not be returning to this location.

The chicken souvlaki skewers, potatoes and rice were on point! We catered for a 40th work anniversary lunch celebration and the quantity was perfect along with the price being reasonable. The owner was courteous to bring our order to my car for pick up. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any Greek food catering and dine in! The ambience looks elegant on the inside and I look forward to dining in there soon.

Great location. The service was fast and the food as always tasted great. Had the best saganaki in this location.
The owners must have never been to Greece. I was never served a Greek salad without cucumbers in it in all my time in Greece.The souvlaki was decent and the fries were great. "fresh vegetables" was a euphemism for green beans. I hate green beans!

Been here twice and their food is unbelievably amazing!! You can’t go wrong with any meat from pork to the chicken souvlaki. Their tzatziki sauce is to die for and is the best part of the meal. To finish off you must have their homemade baklava. The service is great, the first time we were here this one gentleman was very friendly and allowed us to switch out wine for pop instead because it was a combo deal but we weren’t interested in wine that night.
I ordered from this restaurant through skip the dishes. Although the order was prepared and delivered quicker than expected, the food wasn’t good at all. The pork souvlaki, the rice the potatoes, the salad, all were bland and tasteless. The meat looked like unappetizing pieces charcoal and was fatty and tasteless. The baklava we ordered for dessert tasted like old stale bread covered in simple syrup. Needless to say the whole order went into the garbage untouched.

Terrible customer service. Server did not even greet us and had 0 manners or good customer service. I don't know what she's doing working at a restaurant. Food was also completely bland and tasteless. No salt on anything and no flavor. Server did not check up on us not even once (even though the restaurant was completely empty). Complete disappointment. I'd skip this restaurant if I were you.

I have been going to Astoria on the Danforth for 30+ years with my family, it’s been our favourite Greek restaurant for a long time. I’ve recently visited this newer location and happy to see that the same yummy food and good service can be found here as well. The pork souvlaki dinner is my favourite meal, and pita and tzatziki is a must. The BEST tzatziki!

We visited the Newmarket location for my Birthday. Truly a lovely atmosphere, fantastic friendly service from all the staff. The food was so delicious. The meat is so incredibly tender and tasty. Generous portions as well. Will definetly visit again. Thank you for a lovely evening and memorable celebration with family.
