Food is fine but waiters will express her unpleasant and if you pay tips that is lower than 15%.

I recently visited and ordered a few dishes, including the "燒鴨燒肉米線" (roast duck and roast pork rice noodles), "豬潤肉丸粥" (pork liver meatball porridge), and "炸兩" (fried dough sticks with meat filling).Unfortunately, they don’t have "瀨粉" (rice noodles), which was a bit disappointing. Moreover, both the roast duck and pork had a slightly unpleasant aftertaste. However, I must say that the pork liver was prepared exceptionally well and was quite delicious.Considering the dishes we ordered, the overall bill came to approximately CAD35, which seemed reasonable.

Ordered takeout. Super Bowl size congee for takeout is half what you get in restaurant. What a rip off.

This store is very strange. It hides the menus of recent months. I ordered afternoon tea once on the phone after google, and then I can’t find the menu anymore. The menu now is from 5-6 years ago. I don’t know. What's the

“ Congee Wong, Spadina & 16th Ave., Richmond Hill “ - A surprisingly well executed, enjoyable meal at a ‘Congee Queen Clone’!Located only steps… ( actually, more like a couple of minutes drive ) from my home. This casual ‘ Congee Queen Clone ‘ offers a wide range of near identical dishes to their popular competitor just down the road on Leslie and Hwy#7. For some unknown reason, we have been ignoring the place for years…until this evening?! With kids paying me a sudden impromptu visit and this senior too lazy to cook for the gang, we decided to eat out somewhere close by instead. Somehow, Congee Wong was the first place that came to mind?! So, with convenience a major factor, we decide to take a risk and give this neighborhood stranger a long-overdue try.We ordered the following:- Cantonese Roasted Pork and Duck Combo- Stirred fry Beef with Chinese Kale ( Ga-Lan )- Sizzling Satay Beef and Rice Vermicelli Hot Pot- Shrimp & Velvety Scrambled Egg Fu-Yung Rice Noodle ( Ho-Fun )To our astonishment, every single one of the aforementioned dishes were nicely prepared. The end result, delightfully tasty. It’s been quite a while since I last encountered such a pleasurable and well executed stirred fry Beef with Gai Lan dish.....the tender beef, wonderfully seared, piping hot and with gorgeous wok-hay components. The Satay used for the hot-pot was something special. We all loved the sweet, savory and spicy taste profile…..a special house blend?...we wondered?! Once again, the nicely caramelized beef was a stand-out.We also enjoyed the well seasoned and delectable Cantonese roasted meats. IMO, they can easily rub shoulders with Congee Queen’s commendable version.Though not as well executed as Ritzy Palace’s amazing version, Congee Wong’s still delivered a more than acceptable and tasty stirred fry Ho-Fun dish.So glad we have now one more closeby and decent place worth considering when it comes to a quick, fair value and casual Cantonese fare!

I came here for lunch and ordered a few things. The oyster omelette pancake was not as flavourful as I was hoping for, I was hoping for a crispy texture omelette, the fish sauce surely gave it most of the flavour. Shredded pork chow mein, this one was done nicely, unfortunately had waited too long to get to my table, noodles were not crunchy, but now soaked with sauce which was nicely seasoned. The pepper and salt squid was fried nicely, but unfortunately the seasoning did not get on the squid but on the bits of pepper and onion instead. Fried rice was good alright, Chinese sausage bits and a few pieces of shrimp, taste was ok. I also ordered the snow pea leaves with garlic sauce, this dish was nicely prepared and had enough salt and leaves were tender and cooked perfectly. The congee was also ok, I added a bit more salt to it myself. This place gets a good amount of customers during lunch. I would give this place another chance however as I think the chef was having an off day.

It's always good to get together with friends over a meal, especially when it's to celebrate a birthday. It's been years since I've been to this location of Congee Wong in Richmond Hill. Our meal started with a great bowl of Seafood and Fish Maw Soup, and a platter of BBQ Meats, including Soya Chicken, BBQ Pork, and Roast Pork. It was a delicious start and a good sign of things to come. The rest of our meal included the following dishes: • Beef with Chinese Broccoli • Chicken and Shrimps with Vegetables • Snow Peas Leaf with Garlic • Sweet and Sour Pork • Cantonese Chow Mein • Lobster with Ginger & Green Onion • Salt & Pepper Spiced Squid • Steamed Fish • Yeung Chow Fried Rice • Grass Jelly Dessert Everything tasted great! It was more than enough food for our party of sixteen. We ended up taking home some leftovers. Thank you to Congee Wong and all the staff for the delicious food and good service! You made a special occasion even more enjoyable!
