Extremely friendly service and I found the theme and vibe of the restaurant very cool and aligned with the cuisine.Unfortunately I think I came when they were short staff and ingredients. Every round of food I ordered was short quite a few items even though everything was marked available on the menu. It was left a surprise if we were getting certain items. Another surprise was we kept getting random items we didn’t order and when we tried to send them back, the server strongly suggested we keep it in case we felt like having it later.Overall I think a combination of being short on supply and staff impacted our meal bb negatively but I can see the restaurant being a 4-5 star meal when the full menu is available and there are more waiters to provide attentive service!Vegetarian options: Veggies and tofu

Delicious place for all you can eat hotpot. However, the spicy soup base is spicier than most other hotpot restaurants. The dipping sauce is free.

The Best AYCE Hotpot I have ever had in Toronto! Have been there over 5 times. Must try the premium AYCE! The service is also great!

The place is AYCE now with a premium option. Tried the regular one and the food is very good. Can't wait to revisit for premium to taste their wagyu and traditional Sichuan hotpot ingredient offering!

Lots of options for meats. However, if you want duck blood curd or some of the traditional Chinese hotpot foods, you have to pay for the premium price which is quite expensive compared to other similar Chinese hotpot restaurants.

The restaurant decorations were nice. There is not a lot of option of meat and veggies compared to other AYCE hot pot. The worst things about this spot is the meat weren’t fresh. I can smell the meat in my mouth, me and 2 other friends got food poisoning after dine in.

Service were very too bad. Idk why they clean and mop every single spot close by customers eating. When you take sauce from the sauce station ( that they charge 4cad each ) but you take only a few more coriander in the blow ) a server look at you say something in Chinese around, and their Chief in the restaurant come out take a look from far away. On that day I shut my mouth to eat really fast, and like usual I always try to order something for dessert but I don't even touch because I feel they are really crushed and try to kick out customers even their daily hour close is 1.5hour more from Google online, price is not cheap, but service too bad( I paid 120cad for 2 people eat with non-happy, but when I pay they even say*excuse* to ask for the tips . What wrong with this location

Very nice hot pot restaurant in Richmond Hill. Decor is nice and seating is well spaced apart. The broths are very flavourful and the veggies and meat high quality and fresh. They have a mushroom broth that is pure vegetarian - very rare to find.Definitely recommend visiting. You order a la carte and with an iPad. The portions are good sizes. The only downside is that they charge you $3.50 a person for the sauce bar. You have unlimited access but I think it’s too costly. Tip - cash payments get a discount.

Be warned: in store menu is different compare to their online menu, there are less items and the items are priced higher in store.Taste wisely it's alright, unlike most hotpot places there are no free side dishes like fruit and salad .

Fee Fee

This is an a la carte hot pot, so you pay for each item you order. Both the service and food were good.

As a Chongqing people, I'd say Dalong Yi is the most like authentic flavor of Sichuan/Chongqing hotpot! If you can eat spicy food as we do, choose the beef tallow oil most spicy broth. Sichuan cuisine's spicy is nothing western's spicy can compare, your tongue will be burning. Food are fresh and tasty. Decoration is nice, very much like in China. Service is great! I visit there every time when I'm in Toronto.

I planned with my family to get some hotpot, but most of the restaurants we were looking to go to had long waitlists or wasn't open, so we came here as a last minute plan. We were seated very quickly as it wasn't busy for a Saturday night around 6:30pm. It did get busier later in the evening, around 7pm. Dalongyi is an a la carte hotpot restaurant, with some premium options like wagyu and kobe beef. The plates range from $3-10 for veggies and $10-50 for meats. We got the double hotpot with the tomato and beef soup bases, both of which were good. The tomato one was quite flavourful and strong, but tasted kind of like Campbell tomatio soup. Their selection is quite limited. Service was good, but nothing special. Beware that they force a sauce fee on you, for $3.99. Lots of better options out there in the area, so I wouldn't return.

Had a great experience with this restaurant from the time of arrival to the time we left the place. All the staff are polite and always willing give details of what to expect and what we’re getting. The food was great because we prepared it ourselves. Lol. Will definitely come back.
