This is my go to spot for Chinese bakery goods! I have been coming here for over 10 years. They have your typical Hong Kong bakery style foods, and usually have a few Swiss rolls and medium cakes available. They also serve hot milk tea and have two small tables to eat/drink on your own or with a friend, though I have never stayed myself.My favourite is their egg tart deal (6 for $5.50), and if you buy more than 6 buns, there are no taxes. The gentleman that runs this bakery does most of the baking himself, package your bakery items patiently, will recommend anything you may need and is friendly every time. Highly recommend this bakery.

Dong Dong Western Cake⋯⋯Because the original family doctor, Dr. Zeng, was in the plaza on Hwy7/West Beaver Creek. Every time he came to see a doctor, he would come to the bakery to buy red beans, pineapple buns, custard buns, egg tarts, and cakes. It has almost become a "childhood memory" for our whole family.I bought a bunch of bags today and asked for a cup of milk tea before I left. The boss insisted on adding a spoonful of sugar to me [face-covering] [face-covering] It’s hard to refuse such hospitality. For the first time in my life, I didn’t refuse sweet milk tea [laughing] [laughing] ]

No frills Chinese bakery! Everything was so tasty and I love how they offer mini buns and it’s so affordable!

Stumbled upon this place with a whiny 4 year old who didn't want to eat wonton noodle. This place is gem. The pineapple bun were 2 for $1.60, which is insane value. We bought the whole tray and we really enjoyed them. They individually packed the pastry and seal them if they are not hot. If the pastry is still hot, they won't seal it. Highly recommended this bakery. There's a few tables (like 2) inside by the way for you to sit down and enjoy the pastry.

Buns are fairly cheap at around $1.60 per bun. They are smaller than what you’d find at luculus but quite a bit cheaper. Decent variety and definitely authentic. Bring some cash because I’m not sure they accept debit cards/credit cards.
I walked in at 8 am, the published opening time, and there was nothing fresh available. I found that very disappointing. I was able to get some prepackaged rolls and cakes, and they tasted good.

Best bakery buns at a reasonable price! Baked fresh and sometimes if you time it right, the buns are still hot from the oven! Egg tarts are also really good.

*note* the reason the shelves were empty in the pics was because I came really early while they were cooling down on the cart trays in the kitchen.Great little pastry shop located by Leslie and Hwy 7 area with great selection of buns and other goodies. I've been coming here for many years and I always come right in the morning for the freshest offerings right out the oven. Prices are reasonable compared to other bakeries in the surrounding area.
