A hoppin' place with great vibes but not yummy food.We happened across El Bocho on Thursday night and thought we had hit a hidden gem. It was packed!We were relieved they could fit us in for a table of two.Really cool vibes and super fun skull glasses, but that's where the excitement fades.Hubby ordered chicken wings.They were really fatty and verging on under cooked (skin was pretty gooey).I had to ask for the soda I'd ordered again after they brought hubby his beer but nothing for me.For mains, I ordered the enchilada, and hubby ordered the quesadilla.The enchilada was smothered with 'salsa roja' but I'm not sure if it was just Ragu sauce with taco seasoning mixed into it. It was also sprinkled with feta cheese. Feta seems a bit strange for a Mexican restaurant. No cojita or Oaxaca?Rice was bland, and I didn't try the beans.Hubby had the quesadilla. He liked it okay, except halfway through, he needed to start picking out the uncooked onions. Also, it came with an oddly paired bowl of chicken noodle soup. We both tried it, it wasn't tasty.So there ya go, a review.Take it for what you want!If you like a cool vibe and lots of raw onions and meh sauce. Hit them up!

Atmosphere is OK I guess but wasn't the best during lunch. Food: very underwhelming. Very soggy, felt like i was eating a soup. Not a fan of the ingredients, a lot of lettuce and way too oily. The food is really bland, like really. This was quite terrible. In fact, we needed to go elsewhere to get the taste out with something

Had a really great time at El Bocho on Friday night.They have a big portion compared to the price and the food was great.The staffs are super friendly too.They have a live performance on Friday and Saturday nights and it was soo cute. Would recommend to make a reservation if you're going on Friday/Saturday night.

Delicious food and drinks (I had the spicy margarita and it was delicious!). Very fun atmosphere. We went on a Saturday night and there was live music and dancing. Highly recommend. Thank you for the great evening.

Disappointing. Food was very bland, no flavour at all. The only way to get flavour was to add their sauces, but that tasted like chemical. The Waitress looked very uninterested, service was slow.
