Favourite place for hk buns. Prices are stupidly affordable, and their milk tea is the best. Not sure why a few peeps say it's not flavourful - I find the other bakeries just pack their buns full of lard and butter. This is the only place where I don't feel grossed out after eating a few buns.Caution - you gotta go early to get the buns. They only make a set amount each day and don't refill.

There are many varieties and they are very popular. You have to go early for some breads, otherwise they will be gone.

Got 6 buns for $8.70, half the price that one would pay at Lucullus at the next plaza over. The buns were just ok, not much filling inside and not super flavourful. Best one was the bacon and sausage bun. There were 2 cakes on display, but not quite sure how long they've been there for ?

Fat Cook Papa (Fat Cook Papa)

Delicious, not too sweet and fresh, creamy cake.Always have a perfect balance of appearance, texture, and flavor. The cake does have the freshest ingredients and is mixed in the right proportions.Hong Kong style of buns is okay, and you won't find overpriced and lot of choices. But you're not disappointed.

Strongly recommend Napoleon cake?

Product prices in this bakery are very reasonable. Cakes are traditional Hong Kong style and are tasty compared to the large bakery chain stores or large baking store within groceries stores . I like the traditional black forest cake and red bean matcha tea swiss roll.

When I walked in at 130pm, almost empty and I thought ? Hm….. so little choice. But I got my pineapple bun anyway. When I pay I found out for less than 4 bucks I can get a milk tea with a bun. Tea is delicious not too big but I don’t like too much anyway. Not very fat kind of milk tea but taste wonderful. No wonder it so empty Becasue everything sold out! Must come again. Service was friendly and quick.

Decent bakery but a little dated.Inexpensive and good quality. Better than other bakeries around the area.Must try their Hong Kong milk tea (very smooth and not after taste).

The bread here is excellent and great traditional quality. Prices have gone up but still significantly cheaper than most places. The cake here is delicious and not super sweet. It may look average but is super soft and moist if you r not looking for any fancy.

Prices are a lot cheaper than competitors, sure. But food quality was very mediocre at best. I would not come back again for this kind of quality.

Wow this place is a blast from the past. Somehow the prices are still so low. These are definitely pre-covid prices.Where in the entire GTA can you get a pineapple bun for $1.20. All the buns are sub $1.50. Egg tarts were $1.40 each. You can't even get a bag of chips for that price and these are fresh baked goods.I haven't had a chance to eat all the different buns I have purchased, but the pineapple bun was very good by itself. The BBQ pork bun was honestly pretty bland. The filling was not very sweet or flavorful. The buns are in plastic packaging. When you buy them, they will seal them for you behind the counter. There is maybe 1 or 2 tables. This place is primarily for take out. Also, it smells of delicious HK style milk tea inside.
