What you would expect from a fast food HK place in the area. Decent prices, food comes quick, the servers aren’t there to wait on you or ask you how your food is. The beef was quite tender (though you could taste the ton of baking soda used to tenderize the meat). Good for a quick lunch.

Came for afternoon tea (3-6pm). Hk milk tea is okay. Not oversteeped, tea flavour, creamy. Hk style toast is pretty good even though it doesn't come with pb inside. Will definitely request it next time. Don't like the corn syrup that comes with it. Curry beef brisket is okay. Pretty mild curry flavour. Rice isn't fresh. Brisket is pretty standard. Personally wouldn't get again, but seems like one of the go-tos among the regulars. Service is slow at times, but they're trying. Ambiance is typical old Chinese restaurant feel.

I heard the male waiter told a customer that changing table after sitting is NOT ALLOWED. How rude and ridiculous! The elderly customer got a table by the entrance. He took his own tea and utensils just to change to a better seat with less blowing wind. Goldsor, your male waiter needs to provide better service than this.

This restaurant is currently our regular haunt for HK style cafe food. Located in Times Square in the Highway 7 Chinese area, this place is very easy to miss among the often much more flashy competition all around it. Let's start with the highlights. Goldsor is the place to go when you're hungry and need something to eat NOW. The restaurant is no-nonsense. Super fast turnover from super fast service. Even when it's packed the wait time is no more than 10-15 minutes tops. They offer standard HK style cafe food. Various steaks on sizzling plate with soup and rice/spaghetti/fries. Their milk tea is rich and smooth. Their portions are decent for their price. Overall it's good value for money. It's important to note that they do close at 7 pm so you'll need to have an earlier dinner if you want to try them out.

My favorite HK café in Richmond Hill. I was first introduced to their pork chop casserole from a co-worker many moons ago and instantly fell in love with that dish. I have been a frequent visitor ever since, and Goldsor does not disappoint. Their operation hours changed over the years, but currently, they're the only HK café I know of that opens 7 days a week, from 8am to 7pm. Great service and food are reasonably priced, worth visiting if you're craving for HK café food.

Always busy with neighborhood repeat customers.Open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Closed for dinner. Afternoon tea starts at 1500.Be prepared for a noisy environment as everyone including the staff speaking with very loud voices, lol, Hong Kong style. 2 TVs on the wall broadcasting Fairchild.Afternoon tea includes a drink (cold lemon tea extra $1.50)Typical "cha cheng teng" style food, nothing fancy but comforting and filling.Their beef curry rice always hits the spot for me, tender beef and curry is mild.Their fried fish is always moist, tender with a nice crispy coating.Been here plenty of times for their breakfast, not bad either. So lucky to have this neighborhood restaurant within my living area
