But the owner disrespects his wife and staff so much that he yells at them constantly, it makes us uncomfortable to eat there anymore since a couple of years ago.This CNY we decide we will skip the yelling and just have their famous bbq take out.The result? Bbq pork was very dry. Crunchy skin roasted pork was not crunchy. I have never seen any bbq shop seperate the skin and the meat - it was like leftover crumbs and shreds and packed it in the box. On a side bar, They refused to use our containers because "they are too busy", while there was no one in line and only 2 tables in the resto.So long, John's BBQ, it was a good run in the past 15+ years.

The owner is good, he is very polite, but the wife is a bit … (not the Canadian expected way)I once try to get their lunch special which says during 11am-5pm, and I was ordering around 4:30pm, the wife says we just cut off the lunch special time, so if you want it, it will be charge as regular price…Their food is good, and I guess they’ve been here a long time and at their retirement age, so they don’t really care, plus, I’m not their regular customer.

It’s expensive and hard to eat. The barbecued pork belly at $33 is so salty that you have to cut your kidneys. The duck with sliced skin has no taste. The lettuce wrap is bitter. The duck tastes like snow. , I have never eaten sweet and sour pork, it is so unpalatable, I have tried beef jerky, I have eaten food court, I have eaten so much, a boss and his wife are sitting in isolation, having sex, noisy L live in the sun

Then she didn’t give her chopsticks when she bought a set meal with soup. No, you are really lucky to have such a boss/

Consistent tasting Cantonese and Chiu Chow restaurant in Richmond Hill.Came here for lunch, lots of dishes to choose from ranging from $12+. We ordered some fried noodles, flat rice noodles, BBQ rice and a stir fried vegetable. Final bill was $50+. It came with complimentary soup.Overall decent value.Always order a BBQ meat dish (roast pork, roast duck, soya chicken)as they're daily made fresh on site. I would recommend getting their Chiu Chow dishes as well.Parking: Could be difficult to find parking during lunch or dinner hours.
Their lobster is very tasty and economical. Authentic Cantonese food and seafood.
