Nice little spot with fresh bakery items. Coffee is good too. Can get busy so be prepared to carry out as sitting is limited. Will be back again

Food isn’t good at all. Doesn’t seem fresh even if they just restock it

Fresh mochi, baked goods and the goji berry tea here is great. Would not recommend the packaged cookies, however- the white chocolate matcha all butter cookies were terrible and had no white chocolate on them!

I swear I will never return to Lucullus! Service is subpar as all staff carry an unfriendly face. Charging $0.25 for debit card is against the law. I would rather go to St. Germain bakery at Hillcrest. Credit card is welcome at St. Germain without any extra cost, and the buns are tastier. I am going to inform CRA to audit Lucullus as I suspect they cheat by preferring cash to debit card. Not accepting credit card is always a red flag!

Milk tea comes in a very tall but interesting cup, and it tastes fine. The pineapple bun 菠蘿包 is relatively better than many other bakeries in Toronto. The one big difference is the price, which is not cheap!

First time coming here from a friends recommendation. The bakery was very clean. We came right at opening 7:30 a.m. so all their bakery goods were fresh. The employees here are also very helpful/pleasant to speak with. We had theCoconut tart, hot dog buns, BBQ pork buns, also their Hong Kong milk tea. All of these items were so fresh, slight crunch with the bread being soft, and flavourful at the same time. We missed out on grabbing some egg tarts as they wouldn’t be done until 9:30 a.m. also love the idea of them selling pre-prepped frozen bakery items so you can make them fresh to eat at home. Come give this spot a try if you enjoy Chinese bakery goods.

The original Lucullus!Best milk tea and bolo buns in the city! Fresh bolo buns are always churning and super warm and chewy when right outta the oven! Always busy and very evident why it’s been around for so long!

I bought milk tea for my family last week and it was so disappointed, so gave them one more chance this week it was the same, just not like used to be. Buns are not worth the money same as St. Germaine. Not going back again!

CAVEAT EMPTOR!!Duped by " Lucullus Bakery ".....AGAIN!!Delicious products can never make up for the damage done by scamming the consumers!!Previously, I bought a prepared dish ' Steamed pork spare ribs with preserved black bean ' only to find almost half of the container was filled with pumpkins!!.....the ingredient not stated on the label!Today, for lunch, I bought a pre-cooked ' Chicken a-la-king on rice 'from them. In the past, it was well executed, tasty and good value, packed full of nicely seasoned and caramelized chicken chunks ( at least 6-7 pieces ), smothered in a delightful white cream sauce.Today's version, for the same price, I received a carton containing 3 stingy chicken pieces, the rest replaced by........Potato chunks!!....all stealthily camouflaged by the cream sauce!!???Looks like another 'blacklist' candidate!CAVEAT EMPTOR (Part 2 )More negative news coming out from ' Lucullus Bakery ' regarding more ' going downhill ' products!I posted above and provided warning of Lucullus skimming on their popular ' Chicken A-La-King Rice ' product.......replacing over half of the chicken chunks with potato nuggets whilst charging the same price!Today ( January 11, 2024 ) I bought, for lunch, another of their ever-popular and usually consistent " Steamed Sticky Rice with Minced Pork and Mushroom in Lotus Leaf Wrap '!Alas!! The filling is now totally void of those appealing, juicy mushroom bits, whilst the mince pork component is now dry and void of gravy....not unlike some dry frozen Shepard's Pie filling?!2 strikes!........3 strikes and you are OUT!!
