The intention to make good food was there. Went to the food truck at Nuit Blanche and ordered the basic poutine at around 2am when there was no line. I was disappointed that the fries and gravy was not hot so the cheese didn’t melt. Additionally the pop I got was room temperature and wasn’t cold. I feel like the whole thing would’ve been better if the fries had been warm and the pop cold. We ordered 2 poutines, chicken and “the works”, Portion size was good, fries cooked well. Sauce was amazing! The chicken was burnt, and very dry, and the bacon bits from the works was clearly processed, store bought. For the price was expecting fresh bacon bits and the proteins to be the star.
