Great pizza, ingredients, and al dente pasta. Overcooked fried calamari, the tiramisu is not the best because not using the best mascarpone cheese.Otherwise efficient

My new spot for thin crust pizzas! Also their pasta portions are big! We had the spaghetti with meatballs and the spicy pasta with sausage! Both delicious.

Tonight we decided to pick up dinner. Richmond Hill has lost California Sandwiches and Andolini’s so let’s give this place a try. We ordered veal sandwiches which should have come with a salad but they didn’t. The sandwich consisted of focaccia with a thin slice of veal that had a teaspoon of sauce. Veal sandwich’s should have the veal oversize the bread not the other way around. We also ordered fried calamari which were rubbery. Growing up in an Italian home where we still jar our own tomato sauce, I find it hard to believe that this food in being made in Nonna’s kitchen. This was definitely a first and last time.

Absolutely delicious food like I've never tasted before. The restaurant is not very crowded so the dine-in experience is quite enjoyable– fresh and tasty as well as great service. I would go back everyday if I could, highly recommend Nonna's Oven!Vegetarian options: Substituting meat for veggies is available for almost every option

Food prices on their online menu are not up-to-date, probably pre-Covid pricing... so I was surprised when we sat down and took a look at the menu. However, understanding the state of the world and post-Covid prices... we stayed to eat nonetheless. The food was pretty good. The service was nothing to write about, more like fast-food service (Wendy's or McDonald's). My sons enjoyed their meal but found it expensive. 1 adult, 2 kids; we had 3 pasta plates at $23 apiece, an entrée salad $16.50, after taxes and tip the total was $110. We'll probably go back... just not right away. 3.5 stars

Updated in Feb 2024:My family has been going to Nonna's Oven for about 11 years. Pre-pandemic it was easily one of our top 3 favorite family restaurants in Markham/Richmond Hill/Stouffville. The food had big portions, the food was delicious and it had affordable pricing. The service was great and the restaurant was always packed. Any time we wanted to go to Nonna's we usually planned ahead of time so we could eat at 5:30pm just to beat the dinner crowd.Post-pandemic, the prices have gone up. A meal for 4 will cost you around $100 (from $60 pre-covid). But we're talking about really yummy pasta and pizza here. For the same price at East Side Mario, Nonna's is way better deal and better food. They recently brought back table service as things are going back to normal, and Nonna's is nearly back to their original charm. We're sad to see our favorite Pasta Germaia gone from the menu but the Penne Alla Vodka is still a must-have, as well as the Fantasia Pizza.

One of my favourite local pizza joints. Can’t say that I have tried much besides their pizzas. Ordered the Firenza and Meatlovers Pizza, this time. The Firenza is my favourite. The Meatlovers is a bit salty, in my opinion, but my partner loves it. I usually order it to go, so cannot comment on service. Not much of an atmosphere, but cozy and welcoming family restaurant.

I paid over$ 30 for a calzone (they call it something else I forgot) super disappointed ☹️ it's pretty much empty with barely any cheese or anything at all other then doughIf for 10$ I get a better one at Pizza Pizza, I would expect much better result for a 30$ in a restaurant

I recently hosted a party and placed a take out order. We placed the order a few days in advance. I ordered the chicken cutlets, penne a la vodka, grilled veggies and a party size pizza. The portions were generous. The food was all packaged very well - didn’t leak and containers kept the food warm. We have always visited Nonna’s restaurant but this was first take out order. We’ll definitely order again.

My wife bought dinner last night cheese pizza, 2 pasta, 1 chicken, 1 bacon, and rice ball for $130.00. The chicken dish had very little chicken small pieces of chicken the size of a peanut. That was very little, not worth $25.00.
