I've tried a lot of Vietnamese restaurants and Pho Vinh is one of my 3 favourites in Markham and Richmond Hill. The pho broth and noodles are very good quality. The chicken vermicelli dish was very good too. I went at about 11:30 AM on a Sunday and it was not too busy at that time. There is plenty of free parking in this plaza. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

‘ Pho Vinh - 16B Vogell Road, Richmond Hill ‘ - Giving a neighborhood eatery a try based on other people’s reviews!Due to inclement weather and being too lazy to cook. For tonight’s dinner, my visiting kids from downtown and I decided to give this neighborhood Vietnamese joint a try. The ‘unexpectedly queer‘ tasting profile of some of our dishes resulted in one of the most challenging reviews I have tasked myself with writing!Beside the regular Pho, with a well seasoned and delicately flavourful broth. The rest of our order, including even the iced-coffee, all featured some unfamiliar and even weird flavor components…..albeit quite tasty and enjoyable. The Vietnamese Curry Chicken was fragrant and exotic tasting. However, a heavy handed ‘celery’ component rendered the dish foreign tasting and un-curry like. The supposedly familiar tasting Butter fried Chicken wings were wonderfully crispy but somehow totally void of butter aroma. Instead, a savory but foreign tasting coating managed to save the dish. Both the Tomato and Carrot based Beef Stew and Crab soup rice noodles ( Bun Rieu ) were all quite enjoyable tasting, but again both dishes contained some unacquainted taste components. Even the Vietnamese iced coffee tasted like a cross between coffee and cocoa?!Overall, a fairly enjoyable meal featuring some acceptable but ‘Weird‘ flavor elements.

This is a very spacious restaurant. While the food was good, the viet coffee was just average. Nevertheless, the service was good, so I would return if I am in the area.

I've been here twice before, but it's been a while. The two times before, I would have given 4 stars. But food and service have gone down.Portion sizes are small, including poorly packed spring rolls

Ordered grilled beef spring roll vermicelli bowl to go. Taste ok. But the portion is too small for me. I think it should be more with this price.

I’ve been coming here for 25 years, I’ve been all over the world and this is still the best pho I’ve ever had. The staff has always been the same with a few additions, it’s the one place I always come back to when I visit. Lots of memories here.

house beef noodle, both the well-done and rare beef tasted good. The MSG in the soup had good taste like lotus root.

My son ordered a Pho Tai bac with raw beef and ginger. The broth was excellent, large fresh and soft meat portions. I didn't get a headache or felt weird after my meal so they most likely did not add much msg. I got the bun cha ca fish noodle and it was just OK. It would also be great if they could offer fresh noodles and more veggies on the pho platters. The seating is more spacious than the other great pho place, Pho Tai bac.The fish rolls in my bun cha ca wasn't fresh and the soup was a bit too sweet. Hopefully they can improve in the future. The main thing is they got the pho broth right. I would give this restaurant a 4.5 rating

A busy Vietnamese restaurant located by the plaza near 16th/Leslie. It was quite spacious inside, but many seats were already taken - it must be pretty popular. Even after sitting down, there was always a consistent wave of people leaving and coming in, especially for takeout too.Their menu offers an extensive selection of popular Vietnamese food, fried rice, Thai options and a few vegetarian options as well. We ordered the P06 in XL (size only available for dine in), which consists of rare beef, beef brisket, and tripe. I believe you could also choose between dry and fresh noodles when you order their Pho. I was surprised that we actually got more rare beef and beef brisket in comparison to tripe - usually tripe is the cheaper and given more. Of course I wouldn’t complain about more beef haha. Overall the noodles were al dente, and soup wasn’t too salty - just right.IG: Ayeween
