Last night, my husband and I visited Shishlix restaurant to celebrate the New Year. We arrived at 7:20 PM and requested a table for two. However, we were met with a disappointing response from the host. Despite there being availability, we were informed that we could only occupy the table for 40 minutes due to upcoming live music. The host's manner was cold and unprofessional, leaving us feeling unwelcome.We understand that restaurants may have time constraints or special events, but a lack of explanation or alternative options made the situation frustrating. It would have been helpful to receive clearer communication, such as being offered the opportunity to extend our stay with a fee or being informed of any prior bookings or events.As longtime patrons who have previously enjoyed both the food and ambiance at Shishlix, this experience was disheartening. Regrettably, we will be exploring alternative venues for future celebrations, where we hope to receive a warmer welcome and greater respect as customers.

Seated quickly. Ordered quickly but ate at leisure. Great portions and authentic recipes. Staff was pleasant and efficient and great with recommendations for non Persians like myself. Would return!

Very poor service, we were in a party last night, we asked DJ to play an Arabic song to dance, he reacted in a bad way and refused. Rather than that we paid $90 for 3 hours party for just rice and Kebab and a small plate of starter!The food was good but totally not worth it.

they have two ways to serve. one to eat at the restaurant and another just to take away. the prices are different and certainly at the take away place the prices are cheaper. the portions are large and the quality good. the restaurant is very simple and the waiters are polite.
