I wanted to have breakfast, but I didn’t have any choice. I ordered a bowl of beef brisket rice noodles, but the taste was really average and the price was not cheap. I was really disappointed and I probably won’t come here again.

There is too much bread on the black truffle shrimp toast. If they only use half of the bread, it will be more crispy.For the French toast cube, if they can make it smaller, it will be more tasty.Baked pork chop and chicken Chop spaghetti is very good. You can ask them to separate the sauce.Signature statchiva BBQ pork and egg on rice is just ok.

Staffs are nice and the cakes are good, but the food are not so great. The food are very unseasoned and some of them are cold. The soup is way too salty.
A HK tea room branched off from their main restaurant. They do things a little bit differently as they have their own little bakery going as well. At the time of my visit they had some promotions going on: spend $30+ and get a free plate of fried wings, and something about buy x and 1 bun for free. The staff was friendly and fast. The food came in large portions. Pork chop and chicken steak in spaghetti and garlic sauce - This was a massive dish! Two large chunks of meat (one pork and one chicken) and a lot of spaghetti. The flavour of the garlic gravy was pretty standard but you are definitely getting your moneys worth in food. Deep fried chicken wings - We got a free basket of four wings. But like the other dish pretty standard HK style deep fried wings. So the place isn't a star on my list, but if large amount of food is your thing then I'd recommend trying this place.

First time dining at Starchiva and I had a pleasant experience eating there. The restaurant appeared clean and had lovely decor and comfy seats. The staff were friendly and attentive, could easily get their attention when I needed something.Their chicken steak with black pepper sauce was surprisingly good! The sauce itself was tasty and offered a tinge of spiciness in my throat, and the chicken was juicy and tender. At $16.99-18.99 a meal, I would say it's worth it considering their portions are huge and the food I ordered was delicious.

Food was good/great. Waitress was terrible, terrible & terrible. Did I say terrible. We wanted to order their key dishes but the waitress said we can only order from a set menu. But when we look at other tables it didn't seem to be the case. We were being targeted. Then she ask us to leave because other tables were waiting?? Again she didn't ask the other tables only us. Did I mention the waitress was awful?! We were regulars 1-2 a month. Haven't been back for 2 months.

Curry beef brisket was outstanding - flavourful and large portions. We ordered more than $40 worth of food and got a complementary dish of French toast. Weren't expecting this so it was a nice surprise. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices seem to be a bit higher than other HK cafes but all in all, it was worth it. Would def go back.
