The food is not good. I ordered the koobideh kabob and a stewed eggplant dish. The kebab had an off putting smell, the meat tasted unseasoned, the wrap was not toasted. I took two bites, the food was expensive for the quantity I received. I ate the cucumbers and tomatoes in the wrap and threw the rest out. The eggplant dip was really oily, I probably poured out three tablespoons of oil. It wasn’t seasoned well. Unfortunately, I ended up throwing both out because the kabob smelled off and the eggplant was oily, both did not taste good and lacked seasoning. The service was fine but I would advise to avoid eating here based on my experience.

After going to their yonge and weldrick location for many many years, I happened to be in north Richmond hill (yonge and king road) and saw this other location! What can I say, very friendly welcoming service, clean organized interior and very fresh quality meat. Prices are average compared to the other 500+ kabob restaurants in this area but Taftan seems to stand out simply because of their reputation and large portion sizes. Today I got the barg (filet mignon beef) combo with rice and a side order of a chicken leg skewer. And hey they even threw in free cans of pop, lots of butter packets for the rice, packets of sumac (that tangy but distinct middle eastern red spice), and a pita bread! I’ll be sure to return again.

Amazing customer service, I came 30minutes before opening they still helped make my order. Very kind and professional not to mention the delicious food they offer ??

I ate a quarter of it and it was not good. I will never return to this restaurant again. The only thing that was good was the can of coke. I ordered 10 minutes ahead and got there on time when it was fresh and I threw most of it out. Please do yourself and never go here.

Kebobs are very good, we also love stew of the day; Gheymeh, Ghormeh Sabzi and Fesenjan are delicious, owner and staff are nice & friendly and price is reasonable. We shop there every week.

They are crooks. They over charge for Family pack eve though you get way less food if you order separately.

Used to be good, now their kabobs are DRY and VERY SMELLY. This is a picture of their “salad” (no dressing no nothing). Also, there's was hair stuck to the butter. This is extremely unhygienic, especially during Covid.Do not eat here.
