The plaza this restaurant is located in is a bit rundown. The restaurant itself is brightly lit and seems vibrant enough. On a Monday night before six, the place was already about half full. Only 2 servers but the service was fine and both servers were very friendly. The food was good, portions were good size and pretty good value. I also noticed that they have quite a few set meals to choose from. Good choice for a low-key Cantonese meal.

Located in a food focused mall at Major Mac and Leslie, this place is a new addition that focuses on family style dinners. The location used to be a Dickens. Some renovations have gone into it and it is now much brighter than the Dickens days. We came with another family (there were 8 of us) and ordered one of their set combos that came with steamed fish, lobster and crab along with a couple of vegetable dishes that had meat as well as a BBQ mix (duck and roast pork). We added a sweet and sour pork and a fried rice to round out the meal. You start with the soup and end with tong sui (red bean on this night). The verdict? The dishes that we ordered separate from the combo were great! Big pieces of pork and pineapple in a flavourful sauce. Rice was good but nothing remarkable. The combo came with a 4 lb lobster and when it arrived we were told that it was slightly more than 4 lbs because they didn't have one that was close to 4 lbs. We interpreted this as the price will be passed on to us on the bill. Then we start eating and were surprised to find quite a few empty shells mixed in with pieces with meat attached. You would think that maybe the meat fell out but we could not find any evidence of this. Then the crab came and there was agreement that it could have been fresher. Service was good, multiple plate changes because of all the shellfish. When we paid the bill the waitress gushed over the size of the tip we left (nothing crazy but definitely more than 15%). All I could think was really?!?! I think if you stick with the menu and stay away from the combos you should be okay. We were not hugely impressed. You can definitely get better value elsewhere.

Fifth time here in a month. Great food, very good price, good service, decent ambiance, and most importantly, consistent.

Food was excellent; hot, fresh and very flavorful. Service was efficient although the second dish came out quite a bit after the first. Portion size is on the larger side. Price point is on par with most of the local restaurants. We will definitely come back to gauge the cook's skills (in other dishes) and consistency. Please note: the advertised specials (posted on the wall in Chinese) was somewhat misleading - the coupon, once you qualified, can only be used when you come back, and then it is for dinner only.

Surprisingly,  without having a reservation on Friday evening, we, a group of five adults, found a empty dining table on this Chinese Restaurant.  We ordered 5 dishes, including shrimps with vegetables (時菜炒蝦球),Pork Chop in spicy salt(椒鹽肉排),Beef tenderloin cubes in Maggi sauce (美極牛柳粒),Deep fried pork intestine ( 香炸大腸),Oysters with ginger and onion ( 薑蔥生蠔)。All dishes came very quickly after we've placed our order, however, few dishes were marinated overpowering, not deep fried enough and tasted with MSG。The Oysters with ginger and onion ( 薑蔥生蠔)is supposed to cook on clay hotpot, but rather it came and served with dish. It would be better if it has prepared in the hot pot.  Pork intestine is disappointed and it came without wok hei (鑊氣)。This restaurant is small and the tables seem to be layout very close to each other.  Am I coming back?  ?

I had been to Uncle Wing's Kitchen numerous of times and always enjoy their food! Portion is huge and we always have leftovers, which is great to pack for lunch the next day. A lot of classic Cantonese stir fried dish and all have good wok hay. Ingredients are fresh and good quality. They have a different takeout combo menu: for takeout only and are great value. (highly recommend if you don't feel like cooking: includes rice and daily soup) Waitstaff is friendly and eager to please.

Served us a dead tilapia towards closing while there were lots of live ones in the tank. Told waitress about the fish but she didn't do anything about it. Seems to be how they do business, never coming back.

Had a chance to dine at Uncle Wing’s Kitchen today. We were there for dinner; typical Hong Kong style food. The food was very authentic. The restaurant was clean & the atmosphere was very pleasant; unlike some Hong Kong restaurants. However the service poor, everything took for ever to bring it over.

Trying out this new place, lucky to have table for Saturday 6pm without making reservation. Average price for each dish is around $17.99 to $18.99 unless other seafood or sizzling food. Provided us a bowl of soup and Chinese dessert for free. Portion is good, able to have take some leftovers home, favour is average. Also notice they have lunch special for $9.99, come with free soup.

What a great find! This new restaurant serves up some of the best dishes in the area. Make no mistakes, this is not a fine dining establishment nor offer any fancy nouveau cuisine. The atmosphere is casual. But if you are looking for honest cooking at its best, look no further. We were so hungry and so taken by the dishes that we completely forgot to take photos. We will definitely return and remember to take photos. Be sure to order the braised ribs and the duck dish. We ordered 7 dishes, with soup and dessert on the house for a party of 8. The bill came to $130. Superb value.

Relatively new restaurant, staff were fast, efficient and eager to please. Dishes with leftover shells/bones constantly changed for clean dishes.Combo dinners are a bargain, more than enough to feed a party of 4, plenty of leftovers. This restaurant is known for their pigeon dish which needed to be pre-ordered. Done very well with crispy skin and moist meatCombo A dinner ($98) Lobster. Beef veg, shredded chicken, jellyfish, sweet sour pork. All cooked very well.Impressed with sweet sour pork dish, they used fresh pineapple instead of the canned ones.Lobster dish consisted of 2 small lobsters, seasoned well with onions, ginger and scallions.Beef vegetable dish, the beef was a little too tenderized for my personal tastes.Shredded chicken was tender white meat, delicately flavored well where the chicken flavor still came throughMust be gaining in popularity as place was full on a Wednesday evening
