Wimpys is a really good dining spot if you ever wanted to experience old school diners, but this location was the best dining experience I've ever had! The servers and the staff were super friendly and funny and made me and my girlfriend feel like were at home! They were constantly making sure were good with everything and the food was beyond good from what I remembered! Love this place.
We went here as a group of 14. Sunday afternoon it was not very busy. Decor is interesting, 1950's diner style. Only 1 server and 1 cook were working. They have a big menu heavily weighted to breakfast and burgers, but lots of other choices. There are senior meals at a good price. Kelly was working very hard to keep everybody happy. Took all the different meal orders and got them right. Food came out pretty quick, meals were hot, coffee cups were full, everybody was very satisfied. I had the hot hamburger with fries ?. Good quantity of food on the plates, tasty too. No complaints and no food left on the plates. Worth a try, I will be going back again.

I strongly recommend that you avoid visiting this restaurant until they issue a written apology for their racist behaviour and prominently display it in the front WINDOW of the restaurant for all to see.I may remove this review as soon as I see they have issued a written APOLOGY, otherwise, I will keep people informed about this restaurant.I was a witness to an incident at this restaurant when an Uber driver was horribly mistreated. On that particular day, Brenda (the manager) and Shonnie were working. Both employees targeted the Uber driver simply because of her Middle Eastern appearance. Brenda kept swearing at the driver and since Shonnie was speaking with such great anger and hatred, her spit was landing all over the poor driver’s face.This incident highlights the concerning issue of racism amongst some staff members at this establishment.If BRENDA continues to manage this restaurant, the owner should expect this location to close soon.

I have never been so disappointed at a restaurant. I came here with my friend for brunch thinking that it was like a regular Wimpy’s diner. Oh boy was I wrong! The server that was taking care of us was such a sweet women and we were honestly really happy. But after a few loud interactions she was having with other tables and some food delivery workers, my friend and I realized how rude and disgusting her attitude was towards non-Canadians/english as their second language speaking customers. I’ve read a few reviews on here that have had the same exact experience happen to them or someone else in the restaurant. I never thought I’d see such racist behaviour coming from a restaurant staff. I wish I could speak up but to be honest, she was acting so crazy that I was afraid to. Never, ever, will we return back here as long as that lady and any other staff members is treating customers in this disgusting, rude, and unfair manner.

Diversity and inclusion is non-existent at this location. If you're an immigrant and want to be treated equally like every other person, save yourself the disrespect and go somewhere else.
