Visited with some friends from out of town. Place was nearly empty (2 outdoor picnic tables and one dome occupied) mid-afternoon on a Saturday. We were promptly told the domes were advance reservation only but that we could sit inside.
Tried to tell them quietly too that they had a dead bird laying in front of their entrance walkway and it was as though l'd thoroughly inconvenienced her. They were "trying to get to it".
Not a single other party inside. Asked the bartender if we should seat ourselves and then sat ourselves at a table. There was absolutely nothing on the walls by the way of decor. Table was dirty but as it was the only table near the window, we cleared the dirty dishes to another table.
Waited. Waited some more. Another group of 3 came in and were greeted and given menus. Waited some more.
We were never even so much as acknowledged. After 10 minutes, we walked out. Won't be back but found the whole experience very bizarre.

What a quaint little place! We dined indoors but next time I want a dome :). Really nice owners and service. This was our first time and we'll be back!
I went to the Village Biergarten with a couple of friends for a girls' lunch. We sat in a dome and had a wonderful time! It was cozy and comfortable, and the staff were so kind and attentive. The burgers we had were AMAZING - fresh, house made, and delicious.I would visit again for lunch, or even better in the evening, so we could enjoy the dome lit up. This would be a great date night restaurant, especially for a group of couples together.

Really enjoyed the flatbread I tried, as well as the pretzel which came with three different and delicious sauces ? The indoor area is small and cozy and the outdoor garden is terraced with lots of seating. You can even reserve an outdoor heated dome if you want to be outside in the winter months! These unfortunately can't be attained on the spot, even if empty, so be sure to plan ahead! The beer was great! Enjoy! ?
