This is a cozy neighborhood haunt. I’m not sure why I’ve never been before, but I’d say that Bendale is a solid “go to” breakfast spot. The atmosphere is nice, good service and and great value. My only wish is that my Bendale Special came with home fried potatoes.

Love this family run business, it gives me such joy to support small business. Phoebe was amazing, all the Staff are always happy.The Good:Simple uncomplicated menu that are flexible upon request. The ambience is a cute 50’s diner vibe. I like my homefries crispy outside and soft inside but theirs are softer than I am used to for traditional homefries but it’s a personal referrence.Needs Improvement ASAP:The washroom needs a thorough cleaning, dissinfecting and repair. The water pressure was non-existent when flushing and one sink was out of order.

Staff was friendly, place has that nostalgic diner feel which I love. But the food was lacking in quality.I’m a big believer in if you are going to run a restaurant, then make sure the food is better than what you can cook yourself at home. Maybe the food I chose wasn’t their main stuff they are famous for. But either way I think if it can’t be great, it shouldn’t be on the menu.

Ordered the Bendale Special. The food was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The only thing ti note is that it will surely fill you up! The service was also great and the place was clean.
We were warmly greeted upon entering the restaurant, which is an old-school diner where the staff know the names of regulars. We had the Bendale breakfast with pancakes instead of toast, Bendale's cheddar burger, a chocolate milkshake and bottomless coffee. Food was super tasty and everything with tax and tip was under $50. It was a highly enjoyable dining experience. Thank you!

First time going here and won't be back. Waited way too long for eggs and bacon. The washroom smelled of old urine and mold that we could smell from our table.The waitress won't listen to you if you don't want a certain item with your meal such a toast and will force you to keep it on the table even though you reminded her that you didn't want toast and give you a dirty look for it. The food was also cold upon arrival.
