I come here for 1 thing a day that's the mango cake ! Not overly sweet lots of real mango and just the right amount of vanilla cake layers.They have various sizes , however order in advance as they don't have these premade.

Their Mango cake is their best seller, a little pricey but can’t complain. Their pastries and bread are tasty, my favourites are those in the pictures lol that Garlic bread is 100% worth the price!!! Service is good. Atmosphere is okay, can get busy esp by noon time til late afternoon.Been buying their mango cakes for a year now for family or friends occasion. Bought it for work as well and my co-workers liked it.

One of my favorite bakeries. I feel their durian egg tarts and wife cakes are better than other bakeries. However, prices are a little high but worth it.Only downside is plaza is busy so hard to get in and out of the parking lot.

I find the staff is rude and has no concept of customer service. I ordered from Too Good app, but the attitude, tone and demeanor of the lady staff was appalling. The product said bread and she primarily gave me tarts. I tried talking to her and asking but she condescendingly walked away murmuring something. I guess she needs to learn politeness and the fact that customer purchases makes the place earn money and pays her salary. I wanted to check this place as I had heard about their Mango cakes. I was going to order a big mango cake for my dad's upcoming birthday the coming weekend. Since I was headed to their store I decided to buy the Too Good from them as well. But after the rude impolite experience and misrepresentation of product on the Too Good app, I did not place the mango cake order. I will now get it from another bakery. I hope this bakery learns a lesson as they just lost an order and a potential client. I do not recommend them at all. I am sure other bakeries would have similar Mango cakes....

The presentation of the cake is beautiful, and the chocolate plaque is very appealing. Even the restaurant attendant recognized the bakery just by looking at the cake. Mangos are fresh and sweet. The cake is fluffy. The overall taste is not too sweet. Usually, no one wants leftover cake. However, this was not the case yesterday. It was requested by many.Kid-friendliness: Nut-free

You can see exposed pastry and bread everywhere.. hopefully they're not for sale, but even so, they would attract pests.The cashier could use more customer service training. She was trying to ask us for our order while walking out to the back. She didn't come back after almost a minute, and even looked irritated asking for our order again.

IMHO, they have some of the best egg tarts in the city.As for their baos, selection isn’t great, but they’ll have your standard pineapple bub, bbq pork bun, etc.Parking: As there are a lot of restaurants in the same plaza, if you come during lunch or dinner hours, parking will be harder to find, but generally not bad.

The help staff is exemplary! above and beyond, goes the extra miles good and very patient.Especially someone called ****JENNY*****I placed an order through Uber, for a special birthday. While it was supposed to be Delivery, somehow the order became a Pick Up - the Driver who took the order did not show up.We do NOT live in Toronto. I ordered from Vancouver, as I also did last year (not Cakeview, but other places).Was so thrilled after checking out all the great Bakeries, to find Cakeview (based on all the helpful reviewers here) which still does FRESH MANGO CAKE. Especially at this time of the year - most Asian bakeries, even the specialist Mango Cake ones stop production sometime September.Just finding Fresh Mango Cake in Oct was a gem. Bonus 'icing on the cake' - the Mango Cake looks super-delish. Also ordered their famous Butter Tarts, Portugese Tarts as advised, added Condensed Milk Toast, Milk Tea and was inspired to make it a Birthday Brunch order eventually.Long and Short - the delivery process got screwed up. :( :( :(Order was ready, and no one had pickedup.But I called the Bakery at least 6 times from Vancouver, and that staff member ***JENNY*** - she deserves a medal! She went above and beyond, and even called Uber herself, after sourcing out their customer service number for me (we both called) + tried to find a driver for me. As she knew this was a special Bday order.Birthday Goodies did not arrive - from Cakeview (Finch) to downtown, it was too far. 1.5 hours later, I could not even place a repeat order - because it had changed to Pick Up only. Then past the time, the order-tracking did not even show.This is a shout-out to JENNY! You're super kind and helpful. I appreciate it all the extra efforts. IF I could tip such staff (especially when desperate) 30%, I would。 THANK YOU!!! 真是唔该嗮！

I give the bakeries that I've tried (egg tarts, Napoleon cake, mango cake, pineapple bun, beef curry puff a 4 stars. The hk milk tea is delicious too. But the attitude from the cashier is horrible. Zero customer service skills.

Love the mango cake. No matter what the season the mangoes are perfectly ripe. There are more mangoes in the cake than actual cake. The cream is light and refreshing. Yum!
