Used to be one of the best in scarborough. But now service is very poor, when you expect to run the kitchen and dinning with 3 pll ofvourse it's a failing model. I still like thier Rolls and samosa.. prices are not clear for new clients ..Lot of potential as it had a good history ..

Definitely not best samosa in Toronto. Samosa lovers just don't visit this place, it will disappoint you. Price of one samosa is 0.50cent so imagine the taste. One more thing I wanted to mention is their mutton rolls are mostly made of lamb as you can really taste the difference? I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Was here before and their samosas were so good that I went there again today. Bought a lot of stuff but sorry to say none of them were good.. the fish cutlets and mutton rolls were not even fully cooked. The medu vadai and dal vadai were so hard and not taste good. I don’t think I’m going there again. Very disappointed.

I was there yesterday and have been many times buying samosas biryani tandoori and sweetsYesterday I bought 2 pieces tandoori chicken and was charged 4.49 eachAfter I paid, the next person ordered 2 pieces tandoori chicken and paid a lot less. They offered him thigh and breast which is cheaper. When I asked about this they said I just asked for 2 pieces so they gave me the more expensive option, 2 breasts without offering optionsI was the only white person in there and I guess that's whyI love that kind of food and have been eating Indian food for years but don't cheat me on the prices just because I'm not one of youThis is the first and last time they will do this to me

Samosa pastry isn't too thick, but it gets really hard if they aren't turning them over fast enough and they're drying out in the tray.Chicken samosa isn't very good at all.Spinach and cheese samosa is by far the best. But the samosas at A1 are much, much better.Chicken roll isn't very good. Very bready, not much meat. Meh flavour.Mutton roll is just as bready, but it has very good flavour.Nice people. Seems better organized than the chaos of some other places. There's a line, staff serve the next person up, customers follow the line.

25 samosas for $10. cant really go wrong. beware however, they are not the flaky bubbly large kinds youd get at an afghan/pakistani store. they are a bit different, and the filling is mashed opposed to chunky bits of potato/veggies. still tasted very good. my family thought they were too spicy, but i thought it was perfect. youll like the flavour if youre a spice enthusiast.
