Outstanding service from this restaurant. From the moment I walked in I was treated with respect as a customer should be treated. Throughout my meal I got constant, water refills and didn’t have to face any altercations with workers while eating. A huge appreciation to a specific worker there named Neelam, who consistently made sure that I was satisfied with my visit, and overall treated me with the most respect I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant in Markham. Food was great, dynamics were great, and would 100 % recommend this restaurant to family and friends. Again, thank you Neelam for motivating me to write this.

Our go to for chilli chicken.Even though we live in Etobicoke now we still venture here whenever we're in the area especially for that lunch special.For 12$ now due to inflation it's still definitely worth it. Ample gravy, super flavourful and great portion. The consistency is always great as it's not a hit or miss like some other places.Will always recommend this place when asked about Hakka food.

I got the lunch special for my family and the food was so disappointing. The portion was very small and the taste was so bad. Wait time was long and the service was horrible. The cost was very expensive and not worth the food. No one should order here complete dissatisfaction with this place.

Came here recently with a friend who loves the food here but personally I didn't enjoy it much.We came here on a Saturday evening and we're able to find seating pretty quickly. The ambience is nice and so is the service. We got the veg hakka noodles(which were quite good), the chilli fish(this was a let down as it was really dry and full of batter) and along with it some Manchurian gravy(a bit bitter and wasn't very authentic).Overall although the ambience and service was nice, I may not come here as nothing stood out from the food we had.Dietary restrictions: Food is Halal but they serve Alcohol

We decided to check out China cottage for their lunch special on the weekdays. We fell in love with the chicken 88, and the chili chicken is also a great option here. You get a side of either soup/pop or spring roll with the lunch special. The total comes up to just under 12 dollars for the special.The atmosphere was alright, nothing crazy and the service was normal. Again nothing amazing.The food speaks for itself, one of the best places in Markham for Hakka food! Highly recommend!
Amazing experience! My family’s go to place for any occasional dinner. My aunt from France Loved their choices of dishes. Everything absolutely exceeded our expectations.
