Was the best lemon tea in Toronto, still is the best lemon tea in Toronto. Even with all these new cha chaan tengs opening up, none of them compare to D&R’s lemon tea.

Yesterday went to lunch with friends. The restaurant as a whole feels old, but tidy. Occasionally, I would like to eat in such an old Hong Kong style tea restaurant. The food tastes OK. No surprises. Finally, I lay down the waiter to find 5 yuan (gave her a total of 80, tip is 67.5), and she found one yuan for me?... Anyway, there's no interest in doing it again, not just because of the few dollars?

I never knew this was a HK cafe based on the name. I finally tried it and it is a whole in the wall kind of restaurant. Price is low, menu is very limited and small. Portion is kind of small too but then, I mean for the price they charged, can't really complain. Place is not big but the wait time for a table is not bad at all. Service is your typical Chinese service.. Just don't expect much :) Parking is free but can be hectic and limited with the drivers drivng to come in and out from the plaza, especially with the supermarket nearby and Mcdonald's. Be careful of bad drivers. Very easily accessible through transit.

The place has a very cozy atmosphere and casual. The staff was very friendly and the food came fast. The eggs and toast were hot and the noodles were great. The cost was worth what I got, very budget-friendly. I will definitely come again.Parking: Lots of parking, not difficult to park.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly staff

Delicious and affordable. Their fried chicken wings and their curry are must-try dishes. The service is just average, but the food is great, along with generous portions and delicious soup and milk tea.

We tried a few of the afternoon tea sets here this afternoon. The food and drinks tasted good and met our expectations. The price was good too.
A no frills, old school style hk cafe/diner with spacious seating. I used to come here on a yearly basis. Don't expect any modern or gimmicky items. Straight up solid joint to grab some breakfast at a reasonable price. My go to is probably the egg sandwiches with corned beef with a side of a tall glass of iced milk tea, it really hits the spot for me. The bread is nice and fluffy and soft. The milk tea is not diluted, it's strong and is a good pick me up in the morning. There are also other menu items other than breakfast like noodles and rice dishes. It's located in plaza among other shops. There is also decent amount of parking. Service is overall decent, usually got seated relatively quick. Weekends are usually packed. Overall will always make this a go to whenever I'm in town.

An affordable prices restaurant, not high end. Service is good. Since I m not going for a fancy afternoon tea, I will consider food is acceptable good at the price charged.
